  • Re: Sermon Editor

David, I use sermon editor to build my sermon with slides and my notes are then attached to those slides. Then i upload the whole sermon to proclaim. You can't just upload your sermon notes to proclaim by itself or at least I don't know of anyway to do that. Proclaim is a multimedia component of Faithlife. Your notes are attached and corolated with

  • Re: Sermon Editor

Yes I am aware of this. But most of the pics I use are already in proclaims database. If I uploaded in logos then I would create duplicates if I understand it right. I have asked multiple times if it would be possible to have my group upload for proclaim available in logos like logos media is available in proclaim. No word of an update on that yet.

David, I have an audience that is very visual as well. I have a large picture library. I use alot of slides with biblical character potrails in them. If I place blank slides in my notes, when I upload to proclaim then all I have to do is insert the pics into the the slides and I'm for the most part done after I create the sermon in editor. I hope that

  • Sermon Editor

Is there away to insert a blank slide with no text in it? I have yet to figure out how to insert a blank slide to add a picture to later in Proclaim and just leave my notes as notes rather than have them show in the slide as text. Of course I can delete the text from the slide, but it is not efficient at all. Thanks for any help someone might have that

  • Group upload media from Proclaim

I think I've made this suggestion in the past but I'll bring it up again. My wish and suggestion is that it be possible to have the group upload media that I use in Proclaim be available as well in media on Logos. I see my Proclaim pro media, I would think it would be possible to link my personal group media as well. I tend to use those more than I

  • Re: SDA International Bible Commentary

The New commentary being produced or the old commentary. The SDA Bible commentary already is in Logos and is for sale.

  • Re: Finding an EGW letter

I say a big amen to the fact that they are still willing to sell SDA materials. It's not Faithlife's fault that the SDA interest didn't stay where we wish it would have!

  • Re: L8 - Sermon Editor - or Proclaim?

Reid, I'd be curious to know what aspect ratio you have proclaim set at vs the sermon editor. If you have the sermon editor set at 16:9 and proclaim set at 4:3, your text will potentially be squished to another line. Richard

  • Re: My pastor's name as the author of the sermon published in Proclaim

Yes it can be changed there, and on the sermon after it's published, and I have done that. I was gone a couple of weeks and I noted that sermons that were published had my name on them. I was just wondering what makes it default to me when I didn't create the sermon. Was wondering if there was something that could change it and not make a certain person

  • My pastor's name as the author of the sermon published in Proclaim

I maybe missing this, but when our pastor does the sermon in Proclaim, it has my name when it's published. He has a faithlife account and he logs into Proclaim with his account. I can edit the name, but it would be much more convenient if it was already there. Any ideas would be appreciated. Richard.

  • Failed YouTube links

Has anyone noticed YouTube links that are used in Proclaim come up with "This video is unavailable" a lot more than they used, or is it just something with my load on this machine?

I will try that first suggestion when I get home .The second question, I transfered it through Google when I started up the new tablet. It asked if I wanted to transfer the apps from my other device so I said yes .Wished I hadn't of now

I tried the above as you suggested. No changes. The spiraling circle never goes away where it says all presentations and gives me the words no presentations. I went into the permissions for Proclaim remote. They were all blocked so I opened those. I've disabled the local wi-fi. Those choices haven't it helped either. I think agree with you that it isn

No. I was expecting it to, but it never did .It is registering my account But it never ask me to put in my password . It won't show me any presentations to control. I did have to reset my password a while back. The remote is working on my old tablet on. It's a mystery to me.

  • Remote for Samsung Tab A

Just got a Tab A friend. Samsung and transfered the Proclaim remote to it. Now it won't find any of my sermons previously done. I've Uninstalled and reinstalled it and made sure that the faithlife account is active with now results. Any ideas as to what might be wrong? Logos Bible is working fine.

  • Re: Training to use Logos as a Ministry Leader/ Pastor

Hi Linval. I apologize for not getting back to reply to this as I had intended. I've had Logos now for about 4-5 years and I enjoy it now even more. I really love having all my books all connected in one place. I especially like all of my SDA books all linked with my bibles. I have the Sabbath school lesson in the form of a personal book and in a layout

Hey Justin, Quite awhile back there had been talk about making the Android app tablet friendly, maybe that has happened and I just didn't realize it. The app is really sluggish on my tablet. Sometimes it doesn't update very well meaning it takes awhile for the slides to load and I have tried both across the internet and the remote control for connection
