Hello Dave, Thanks for the suggestion however, it does not work very well. And Graham's suggestion did not work either. I may make a suggestion to Logos.

I am building a PB based on 1 John and one of the sections is as follows: "IF WE SAY ..." ([[1:6, 8, 10>>1 John 1:6,8,10]]) In the resulting PB all of the above appears. How is it possible to only have (1:6, 8, 10) appear in the text. Then hover over each verse and it display, as it normally would? By the way, if I have ([[1:6-10>>1 John 1:6-10]]) there

I have done more research and found that the reference is in a Morris Proctor "Tips" email of December 2012. However when I go to look at the tip I get the following: "The Application cannot proceed! An internal error has occurred..." I get this on both the desk top and lap top computers. And I am not sure what is wrong, my computer(s). my isp or the

I recall reading somewhere that a popup window that is displayed when hovering over a word can be 'frozen' so that the contents of the window can be copied. Alas, I cannot recall where I read this. Can anybody help?

Thanks. I think the "add field" function will help. I will try it in the next day or two.

Mick, Thanks for the reply. I know I can add a PB to a collection manually, but I am looking for something in PB creation whereby I could say what collection I would like the book to be included in. Then when it is built it is included in the designated collection. I guess this facility is not available? Martin.

Is there any way when creating a personal book of setting in which collection I want the book to be included? Thanks

Thanks very much for the replies. I did get the *.lbspbb files across to the laptop computer but I still had to compile the books again! However it all worked out well enough.

Having successfully loaded a number of "personal Books" from docx files on my desktop computer, after closing the desktop and opening my laptop I could see the recently created personal books listed, but when I went to open them on the laptop, I received the message "You don't have a license to view this resource". But of course I do have a license

Does anybody know of an online (i.e. structured lessons) NT Greek course that uses Logos 4 as the basis of the lessons? Martin.
-
Does anybody know if there is an OT equivalent to Louw-Nida. For Greek L-N is a very useful tool and it would be equally helpful to have the same function in the OT. Thanks. Martin.

Do these posts indicate that it is possible to run Logos 4 on the PB through the Android "sideloading"? Does anybody know if this has been accomplished? Thanks.

Is there a way to use the abbreviated name in the "Parallel resource sets" dropdown list? e.g. "JPS 1917" instead of "the Holy Scriptures according to the Masoretic Text"

I have finally been able to run this. The result is good. Thanks very much.

I have created notes for different verses and in a number of places they have duplicated themselves so that in 1 John 3:21 I have many occurrences of the identical note. (see below) This has happened before but in that instance I deleted the one duplication, but to have so many is very strange. Perhaps this is a bug?

I presume that the only way of sharing Personal Books in L4 is by giving another L4 user the docx file and them compiling it into their own copy of L4. Or is there another way?
-
Thanks very much the suggestion seems to work.

Thanks for the comments. I am running Windows 7. I see that in the screen shot, the correct Hebrew word is highlighted, however problem I was referring to occurs in an English version. Perhaps it works well in Hebrew, but not in an English version? Here is the screen shot.

When using Word Study in ESV for Isa 26:3 "...whose mind is stayed on you..." with a right click on "stayed" and selecting the lemma then going to "Bible Word Study" then "Textual Searches" five other passages listed. When I select one of those five, say Ezek 30:6 and the verse is displayed in the target window that has original language panel displayed
