It looks as though I missed a few more replies (sorry). Thanks Mike, J. Erik, and Bruce; I am now 3 months in with my iPad 6th Generation, and I really like it. Still discovering and learning new things (this is my 1st iPad ever). It's the best decision I made for Logos (iPad over Android). My next move may be to change my phone from a Note 5 (Android
I am positive that it was permanent, but when I look now it is temporary, which is fine.
For Future Reference, temporary resources will initially be shown as permanent (reason unknown), however, after a short period of time, they will change to temporary.
I'm guessing that a different book cover is being used because this volume was not included as part of the original collection. https://www.logos.com/product/47468/the-biblical-illustrator-new-testament-collection Is that correct? Personally I would prefer having the same cover as the rest of the set.
I was just

I have been running into the same issue since the L8 upgrade. This has been reported, I just don't remember where, and didn't add to the post because it was already noted. I have a 52 week ESV reading plan in which I listen and read along. It is strictly a Logos 8 issues (for me anyway), as it worked perfectly in L7. My workaround is to listen to the

Well, this is a strange post. I've never thought about any conflict of interest or if some are rewarded for loyalty and others not. Now that I'm reading and thinking on this post, it really does not matter to me if there are such practices taking place. My loyalty (if you want to call it that) stems from the overall personality of Logos/Faithlife and

The latest (so far) that I have seen pre-pubs released is 10:00 PM EST.

Congratulations! And thanks for all of your posts. That star is well earned. [<:o)]

The resources we don't agree with or just don't like are still beneficial at times if nothing more than to explain in detail (with references) why we don't agree or like. BTW: BibleWorks has ceased operations.
There was one right in the middle before right?
Yes, there was a Bible icon where the tab icon is now. Some (including me) was trying to get that back, but the way it works now (long press) is good.

There was one right in the middle before right?
Long press that button and whah-lah. You've have it. :-)

Thanks for your feedback. There are now two ways to quickly open your preferred Bible. Press and hold the Tabs icon Tap the Bible icon in the bottom right of the Tab editor view
Thank you, Daniel; I initially had missed the Bible icon on the tab editor. I still believe the best location is where it used to be

How about removing the Cart icon from the taskbar area, and replacing it with the "Open preferred Bible" icon? If there is a constant need to buy resources every time the app is opened, I could see the benefit, however, if not, it would be more beneficial to move it to somewhere else (maybe the home page area).
Hi. In previous versions of Logos, you could go into the information panel of a resource and check a box to have it automatically download to your phone/tablet/whatever using the mobile app. (You could also use the same to remove it from the device.) In L8, if a book is already on my phone, it shows the "Devices" information, but

I see that some are having issues with L8 not updating to L8-SR1. I initially had this problem. I checked my update channel and found that the beta channel setting carried over from L7. Once I set the "Update channel to Default", the software updated as expected.
Thanks, that was a "V8
That's what it was, thank you Erwin!
Glad that it worked. I initially overlooked this also but remembered running into this in L7.
Tried to change channel to Default but it is remaining on Default. I am guessing this is being looked at?
Hi Ken; Are you using "update channel to default" or "set update channel to default"? The "set ..........." must be used.

For anyone that has previously used "Set update channel to Beta", if you use "Set update channel to Default", the update should initialize.

Congratulations! Thank you, Graham; You have helped me many times, either directly on a post I wrote, or indirectly through a reply to another's post that I read.
A workaround would be to make a "Quickstart Layout" with just your preferred Bible on the Dashboard. (I seem to remember that it comes with a layout of Bible and Commentary). Then it takes two taps to get back to your Bible and another one to focus the page.
Thanks, Bruce; Since activating a layout will initially remove
