Thanks for asking this question. I have a drawer full of Old CDs I will be throwing them away when I clean up tomorrow, or maybe next week.

Add to you list a manual override so that the user can renumber the list to fit the outline

Logos does not tell you that you need a computer that has the next generation i8 or 9 to allow their program to run smoothly. This has been my beef with them since Logos 5.
-
I wish I could. I had one guy who was very knowledgeable about the language software and system requirements. I am thinking of asking the person the next time I call, "How many years have you worked for Logos?" When Logos 4 came out no one gave me a good recommendation on a computer system. Their website recommendation is useless. I ended up with a

Bruce, If you do not have a good working knowledge of classical literature avoid getting bogged down in Lewis' frequent reference to other works. Just skim over them. As long as you get the jest of what he is saying you will be ok. I was amazed at the amount of literature from which he can draw references.

What would Christmas be without the retail apartment of logos using old ideas to generate new income. I thought they had exhausted itself in November with Black Friday and Black Monday sales. But I guess they were just warming up. What were they hoping but those two sales would create such a fine frenzy but we would not be paying attention to the price
-
I would say that his monitor is on. He states in his post that all he sees is a blank white window. That is quite a bit different than a blank "black" screen. I wish people would read the posts that they offer suggestions to.

I wish there was a Logos email/forums for those of us who have build up are libraries since the beginning of time and do not need the bombardment of advertising. This crap gets weary. I keep getting requests to buy a Logos 7 package. The next three levels have so few books that I want why through money into their lap.
-
Since each book opens where you left off reading, what function would your bookmark feature. Wouldl you be able to put bookmarks in several locations? How would you access them? through a tap in the whatever they call it bar over the resource?

Bob When I lived in Wenatchee I was diagnosised with non-hodgskin lymphoma. The MDs put it into remission quickly but when it reemerged I under went a peripheral stem cell transplant with Fred Hutch and UW. They are brilliant and great people. I will pray for your wife john wixom, mi

I do this all the time. When you go back to sermon prep you will not lose any of the set up. How you do this is explained by others
-
Yes there is a setting John click on visual filters and go all the way to the bottom I had the same problem

I do not own a Mac but I have learned with Logos ALWAYS get the fastest CPU you can afford. I really got made when I used Logos' recommendation to buy a computer and bought a PC i3CPU. I took coffee breaks everytime I brought up a new resource. My PC i5 can barely handle Logos to my satisfaction.
-
This does not solve your problem Mike but I was wondering what CPU you have? I do not use search much because I seldom come up with the word/words that Logos could find or Logos give me so much information even when I reduce the search to a collection that I do not want to take the time to look. That is probably more my issue than Logos.

I am reading through the Bible and the reading plan i sent up was working. It would keep track of each days progress. I fell behind for various reasons but Logos continued to keep track until I got to Ecclesiastes. Then it just stopped. The Home page tells me that I am on Ecc 1-4 but I have read through chapter 9. I have Logos installed on 4 machines
-
After installing 6:10 Logos appears to work.

There are a few other posts like this but I was told to start a new thread. I am using a Lenovo laptop with Win 10. The first image pops up immediately upon clicking on the icon but the program does not continue. I checked the Task Manager and the program registers but never gets past 1.2 mgs of usage. The images stay on the screen for a few minutes
-
Dave, I am having the same problem but I have build 10586 so i am not sure 1511 will help me.
-
I am using Logos 6 on a Lenovo laptop with WIN 10. Sometimes Logos starts, sometimes it does not. It seems to download about 1.2 mgs than stalls, according to the tasks manager. Only the splash screen appears.

Jayson, Hear our my thoughts: I am a pastor. Logos is the first program I turn on. I use it to exegete the passage. My Greek is rusty and my Hebrew has long been forgotten so all the aids really help to make sure that my understanding of the key words stays within the boundaries of their original meaning--lexicons, commentaries, and sermons are the
