  • Re: Logos 4 Poor Performance

For the record, my machine is faster than yours Kevin. You will not get much help from Logos. They are completely unrealistic in this area. I have even exchanged emails with Bob and his response left me stunned. He politely refuses to admit that to smoothly operate Logos 4 the minimum system requires a huge amount of video RAM. I do not know how much

  • Re: The New Daily Study Bible - do I need/want it?

I was also wondering about this "New" version. Barclay does a great job of planting seeds. I was not aware of his doubts about the Trinity. I am aware of the controversy surrounding his views of miracles, in particular the feeding of the 5,000, yet those items are easy to filter out. If a person has not purchased the DSB, the NDSB at pre-pub price looks

Guys, you are trying to solve a complex problem with a mindlessly simple solution. None of you have provided a satisfactory answer. I know all about the difference between a Enter and a Shift+Enter and a Cnt+Enter. I know about the Number Icon. I guess I should have listed all the obvious ways i have tried to solve this bug. But they were so obvious

I am trying hard not to withhold my initial reaction to your last suggestion. In polite terms yes i clicked on the icon and yes it does numeralize the paragraph but that is not my problem. To repeat myself: Let's suppose i have a list of three items The sower sows seed in a field The enemy sows seed in the same field Weed grow up in the field If i hit

For those who think that they need to "weed" out incorrect theology, please read Matthew 13:24-30, I agree Bob, Logos is for everyone, PS I saw your listing on Google+, when are you going to start posting there

I am using Windows 7, could another program have altered something in Logos? This feature (automatic numbering) works in every other program i have except for Logos. To say that i am confused and frustrated is an understatement. They only work around is to renumber the entire section in the note file,

  • Numbered Lists

After a recent update, I do not remember which one, the numbered lists in my notes lost their automatic feature. This is quite irritating since i use numbered lists extensive. For example if I have already typed a note and numbered Then hit enter, the next line would automatically be numbered, however, not it starts a new unnumberd paragraph if i try

There are many features that would be fun to play with in this software but the cloud concept is not new. We us it already with Dropbox. It is a simple and free and fits our needs. Everyone has OpenOffice (you cannot bet the cost $0 and it does everything PowerPoint does) I would not dare introduce a change in songs on Sunday morning. The music team

Programing hyperlinks into the Notes section of the Passage guide would be very useful. Then we would be able to easily access the reference for our notes

I am glad that you told me that your wife's system runs Logos. What security software does she have running in the background? Does she run a word processor at the same time? What about IE or Firefoxe? I usually have all that going but Logos is still sluggish if they are not running? How big is your wife's video card memory?

I have a Dell Studio 1585, 4GB Ram, an Dual Core i3 2.26 Ghz, with a 2.0 Gb Video Card. This configuration is well beyond the "recommended." I bought this machine after consulting with Logos staff to make sure that I have enough power and memory. After running Logos 4 for a few weeks I called tech support to find out how to improve the performance of

There is a story about EJ Young (maybe some of you WTS alum could help me with the details). Someone wrote to him about an exciting journal/book. He would send a copy to Young but it was in a very obscure North Korean dialect. Young wrote back to his friend in the North Korean dialect and asked him to send the book. Young picked up the language when

Thanks this will help get me started but I am going to have to ask a lot of questions. I had Linux on an older machine but I tried to create a Windows Virtual Machine with Logos 3 and failed miserably so I did not install Linux on this newer machine. Hopefully your guidance will lead me through the processes Some of these questions may be answered once
