I'd give $20, for research purposes only. I'm still waiting on my SDA Bible Commentary CD to arrive.
Hey Super Trap, FYI if you encounter people when you read some of Ellen White's writings when you are researching check out the included SDA Encyclopedia, it will have a biographical sketch on some of the people mentioned

Thanks Milford...this book will be very helpful.

I'm not sure if its a loss leader, its free on iBooks as well.

Its an interesting idea, but I think one issue would be expertise. Since the Classics have relationships with Biblical studies its not a huge stretch. If Logos were to offer a legal library they would then have to hire people with that type of expertise (they would need to know what type of collections would be useful).

Will iOS 7 bring any changes to the various Logos apps...UI? Just wondered.

I'm not surprised, I pretty much read on my iPad. I even check out ebooks from the library instead of paper books. Don't have to remember to return the book, no fines. If its a Kindle book all my notes and highlights are still available if I check the book out or buy it.
Dietrich Bonhoeffer: A Biography by Eberhard Bethge
I would love to have Bethge's biography of Bonhoeffer, I think the fact that he was a friend of Bonhoeffer adds a valuable perspective.

Two Resources often quoted in texts are: Ancient Near Eastern Texts by James Pritchard http://www.logos.com/product/3860/ancient-near-eastern-texts The Context of Scripture (3 vols.) by William W. Hallo http://www.logos.com/product/2210/the-context-of-scripture Sorry for the big type, writing this on my iPad and it doesn't work very well.

The English Bibles have RI's in other workds they have hidden tags for the specific biblical langauge. I don't think the Chinese Bibles are tagged that way.

I would recommend the iPad, I was recently gifted the most recent iPad and love it. The current version has a storage capacity of 128GB which I think is a huge plus. Everything you want to do can be done on the iPad. Also the newest AppleCare plus includes protection for water or screen damage (only a $50 deductiable to replace it up to 2 times). Its
Thanks for letting me know. I never thought that some of the books might not be available. Using Logos was one of my primary considerations in purchasing a tablet. I wanted to be able to read the books in my library. I find it difficult to read from a laptop or desktop screen. Oh, well. I still like having a tablet. [

Great idea, I've actually seen some books that have become available in Kindle after I used this feature. It would be wonderful if the book goes into Community Pricing or Pre-Pub if those who requested the book were notified.

A second source of materials might be some of the various Dissertations from Andrews University. I remember Richard M. Davidson wrote and excellent one on typology. I've even seen it cited in recent works (I'm thinking of Jesus: a Theography by Frank Viola and Leonard Sweet its available in Vyrso). It would be great to have some of these books in Logos
