Thanks. Based on what I'm being told by HP is that theoretically it can be upgraded to 8GB but the extra power consumption would be make it ineligible for Ultrabook status.

Looking at the HP Folio 13 - http://shopping1.hp.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/WFS/WW-USSMBPublicStore-Site/en_US/-/USD/ViewProductDetail-Start?ProductUUID=JGMQ7EN5nSIAAAE0znpUKk.p&CatalogCategoryID=S_oQ7hab8uEAAAE0E94RNCUD&JumpTo=OfferList Any comments as to how it would handle Logos? It is the most (by far) resource hungry app I will be running on
-
It's not a resource. But what I would like to see is a way for my friends and family to buy me Logos gift cards. That way I'm VERY easy to buy for this year :) Plus if there were some good deals to spend my gift money on then that would be good too.

Hi Bryan. http://wiki.logos.com/Logos_4_Mac This wiki page includes the download link for the Mac version
I assume you're trying to discover an on air presentation using the Logos for iPhone app? Have you set a location on the on air presentation?
I beleive so, but no luck. While, the location awareness is kindoff cool, maybe as a backup or alternate means it would be great to be able to subscribe manually to a location

I've been playing with proclaim this afternoon and can't seem to get my logos app to find the presentations. How can I troubleshoot?
-
To clarify, I'm using for personal devotions

I've certainly referenced Wiersbe for lesson prep but i like the way 365 separates out the two. Just like my meals I like having my main course first and then dessert afterwards.

I appreciate the mix of straight commentary with a little devotional on the side. Is anybody aware of other resources like this or what to recommend one? I did a search http://www.logos.com/products/search?q=devotional+commentary&start=0&sort=rel&pageSize=60 which produced some results not all of which seem to be the same style. Thanks for your help

In my preaching prep I came across this illustration, in Holman New Testament Commentary:Romans: A disturbing poster made the rounds in Christian bookstores a number of years ago. In the foreground of the poster were two wizened old saints who were down on their hands and knees, seemingly in a discussion, or more likely an argument, about something

A few years back I hosted one of Dale Pritchett's New Zealand road tour stops. It's not clear whether or not you will actually have any Logos staff presenting for you, because the easiest thing is just let them go to it!! If you don't have any official Logos representation then some of the videos mentioned are great. When I hosted Dale Logos 3 had just
I'm not quite sure why Platinum needs the "Made Easy" series...
I guess for those that have more dollars than sense
-
Unfortunately (for me!) that resource is available in Logos only as part of a collection that otherwise doesn't interest me. It's available cheaply in USA, but I would then have to pay a bomb for postage. Can't locate it in England.
Hmm, so it is. It is also part of Platinum edition. Another option that I am planning

Well the one I mentioned was $2.50 so that fit my budget just fine!! I guess it depends on what your budget is - if *I* had the funds I would be seriously looking at the New international Commentary Set, but that's just me. When it comes to sales like what is currently on offer - assuming I even have funds to devote to it, I focus on "core infrastructure

I'm not sure how this model would work or how well it is working for other firms but it would seem to me you could have a two tiered app - the free, lite version and then the more advanced paid version that could fund further development. Whether you have the lite or paid version would not impact on the books you access - but effectively the lite version

His Names Are Wonderful: Getting to Know God through His Hebrew Names - and I also recently got Intimate Moments with the Hebrew Names of God out of pre-pub. I'm using them to craft family devotions.
-
There is one book that I am aware of because I have used it - Scripture Memory Made Easy by Mark Water Getting started on your New Year's resolution - I can't think of a better goal!!
-
I would also recommend Librarything - I have a lifetime membership for $25. The only drawback to Librarything is that is is exclusively for books.
-
You might also like to check out www.koha.org - it is an open source library system - would be overkill for a personal library but very suitable for a church lending library or a bible college type situation.
It just means that less bid at $6
To be pedantic, because the bids at higher levels are automatically included at the lower levels the are actually more bidders at the $6 level than at $7. It's just that that extra $1 per bidder makes up for the small decrease. Every 6 bidders at the $7 level makes up for one less
