  • Re: Powerpoint Does Not Import Fonts Correctly

Steven, I have worked with Proclaim ever since its release and have always had problems between Proclaim and Powerpoint. The solution I have come up with is to convert the pptx or ppt slides to jpg files. This is done within Powerpoint. Then upload them as image files. You lose the use of signals. I have wrestled with this for a couple of years, but

  • Unexpected Error Uploading Powerpoint

Trying to upload a ppt file from a MAC running version 10.8.2, I receive an error message, "An unexpected error occurred while importing the specified Powerpoint document." This error message appears randomly as I try to upload files. I have yet to find the source of the problem. Proclaim seems random in its file uploading since there is no identification

  • Powerpoint Font not importing

A previous problem importing fonts on Powerpoint for MAC produced a different and larger font in Proclaim. LOGOS fixed the problem by using ppt. Now the problem has appeared again. Any upcoming solution?

There are no text animations. I am using Calibri font. The problem exists on the same computer that I upload from.

  • Unexpected Error Loading Powerpoint

Running Mountain Lion and Powerpoint for MAC 2011, I cannot load my ppt files. I get the following message with no error number: "An unexpected error occurred while importing the specified Powerpoint document." Since I cannot load pptx files, and now the ppt file will not load, I am having to use jpg files. Do you know what is causing the problem?

Anthony - I feel your pain. I still have no resolution to the font problem and have seen no workable answer from LOGOS. Hopefully this thread is not dead and will be addressed. It is very frustrating to not be able to use the signal feature without having to edit each individual slide.

I have the same problem. Running PowerPoint MAC 2011 ver 14.2.3, when I import using pptx into Proclaim, even when I run it on the same computer, the fonts are enlarged off the screen. The service computer runs the same programs with the same fonts installed, so it is not a font problem. Using ppt it works just fine , except no signals, which I would

  • Powerpoint Does Not Import Fonts Correctly

Using pptx, Proclaim 1.5.0.0011 does not correctly import fonts. Instead it produces a much larger font that is off the screen. Also, using pptx, I get this error message "Presentation does not contain a valid location. Signals will not be broadcast properly." When I use ppt the fonts doe display properly, but there are no signals. Any solutions?

  • Lack of Continuity

I love Proclaim; HOWEVER, the one problem I have is the lack of continuity between slides. On the "song" slides you can add outlines and shadows to the text, which makes the text stand out on a different color background. If you want to carry the same theme throughout the presentation, you cannot do it since "content" and "Scripture" slides do not have

  • Uniform formatting options on all slides

I appreciate the addition of formatting options for the song slides; however, because they are not available on the content and Scripture slides it is impossible to create uniformity in appearance throughout the presentation. Adding drop shadow, outline, etc. options would be quite helpful, otherwise some slides appear flat on the screen while the songs

  • Shadowing Text

I have looked for a way to put outline and shadow on the text displays. Currently, the text onscreen appears very flat and difficult to see on many backgrounds. Having the ability to put outline and shadows on text displays would greatly improve visibility. Is that in the planning?

I cannot find a place to delete items in the cart. If it is not in PROCLAIM, it sure needs one.
