  • Re: Your version of Logos is out of date

As for resources out-of-update, that's not likely since this happens (just about?) every time I log into the home page -- Despite that I keep autoupdate on and Logos is open all day with no interruption of access. The message appears even just after resources are auto updated. If it's not my Logos version it's talking about, why then would VIEW OPTIONS

  • Your version of Logos is out of date

My Logos version is not out of date. I apparently just don't have the base package library you want me to have (which has far too many extraneous 'resources' for me). It would be preferred that the Logos logged-in home page only tell me when my Logos version (now, 8.16.0.0002) is out of date and leave the rest to me. (It's no use if it's wrong about

  • Is it possible to do a basic search ...

Is it possible to do a basic (or other) search of my resources with whatever criteria, but limited to only those I purchased since some date? Researching, I start by searching my resources using the relevant criteria, then work away; But at some point later in the project, I want to see if something relevant is also in the new resources I've bought

Thomas, Due your prodding I found what had taken ownership of Ctrl+Alt+C, a file-sharing app called Jumpshare: Because I don't use it often, I stopped my Startup start of it. (Even so, the app is very flexible re keystroke assignment.) The keystroke shortcut is now working in Logos as advertised. Thank you. PS: I had talked earlier about the Styled

Thank you Thomas, You said, Thomas: When I open the ESV, confirm the "Copy location as" is set to L4 … In ESV, yes indeed, "Copy location as" is set gray-boxed to L4. (Keeping our testing focused, we’ll work only with the ESV for now.) Then you instructed: lick inside the resource to give it focus, press Ctrl+Alt+C, open Word, click inside

Similarly to " PJ | Forum Activity | Replied : Wed Feb 5, 2020 4:55 AM " and elsewhere ... Ctrl+Alt+C does not for me pick up the citation/reference. (Which for me remains a dysfunction, since quite a while, through multiple updates of Logos and Windows maintenances.) Windows 10 Pro; ver 10.0.19041 (2004) Logos 8.15.0.0004. All other copy keystrokes

Thanks Bradley; Also FWIW, there is a Windows registry tweak that might give me an "Open With" option, though that itself may only get me part way to what I'd want to be doing regularly. But then, though I have fiddled with the Reg. several times in the Day, I'll not now and live with the extra steps during the text copy.

Thanks KS4J, Thanks for the Handler suggestion and the link: On the verge of moving to a new PC, I'll not add a background Handler/Manager app for now. I found that when I executed the link, the Logos app Search window truncates the string as " ([field words-of-christ] (((don ", but I do get the drift of it. And while my usual use for this Scriv/Logos

Thank you for your effort; I understand both these, URL and L4, and have applied them in their day to use them. However, my disappointment is that outside Logos, in external documents where I want to have a direct link to Logos resources, " https://ref.ly/logosres/leb?ref=BibleLEB2.Php4.4 " opens a browser tab, eg, " https://app.logos.com/signin?returnUrl

Thank you David. However, 1) I don't ever want a web connection for this; I want all my citing external-document resource links to open/goto my Logos, so tweaking the link, sometimes 5-10 times in a day, routinely once a day, is no practical workaround. 2) Were the hyperlink option to only open one tab, on my first use from the Scrivener RTF files I

  • Resource citation title link

it seems that when I paste text from a Logos resource I have into an external document, the title's sub-surface link is foremost a web link -- Clicking the title's link in the document opens a browser tab besides taking me to the resource in my desktop app. I know I can get into the subtexted link and massage it to something akin to "logosres:esv;ref

Thank you Graham, Re RC7: That is the state of Scrivener's next Windows' full version; It's latest released version is 1.9.9+. (My Logos is 8.14.) My core idiosyncratic issue is that I am using Scrivener a bit too databasey/textbasey for it to comfortably handle; and my use of Logos' word processing wants it to be more responsive (and featured?), perhaps

Graham, Yes I have; thanks. And I have even thought of putting my decades of articles, research, and thoughts (now in Scrivener) into Logos as well, ~ 30k. However, two quick observations: As I understand Favorites [Favourites ], I'd have to be working in Logos to use them ... which leads to the second ... I find Scrivener to be generally easier, more

Kevin: Thank you, this will be of use until I get the 'Sorry' resolved. (And otherwise regardless!) In fact I do have some Google 'Logos' tabs open right now, but not done with the OPERATORS ... thanks. Re my reason for searching the Forum 'today', Poking around, I've found the URL copy option, which will serve my purpose of having a ready link outside

Why do I get "Sorry, there was a problem with your last request!"? My Tracker Blockers report none blocked. My custom Firefox (in Windows) privacy setting re cookies is not selected; And I've tested without the cryptominer and fingerprinting blocking enabled. This 'Sorry' began a little while ago, but not a very long ago. (I was searching variously

Thank you Graham, No I do not have that resource: Thanks for the link. However as you did understand, my interest in Daily Light was for the homepage--and for a rendition that quotes the entire verses besides. (Most renditions don't have the patience for even the full single verses: Context can be so distracting. ) g

  • bagster's daily light

Coming from Bibleworks, I appreciated the simplicity yet (mostly) unedited verse cross-referencing of Bagster's Daily Light; it would be of use to have that on my HomePage. Is that possible? (When I searched for "bagster's", the forum search function fails.)

(Aside from the fact that I have already gotten my free workflows...) It is not unusual for my Home Page to have duplicate tiles, today's being "Redeem Your Free Workflows": The links take me to the same place, an empty shopping cart with an explanation that I already have the 'item'. Given the 'smarts' with which I am impressed from Logos, it would
