  • Re: Resource citation title link

Thank you David. However, 1) I don't ever want a web connection for this; I want all my citing external-document resource links to open/goto my Logos, so tweaking the link, sometimes 5-10 times in a day, routinely once a day, is no practical workaround. 2) Were the hyperlink option to only open one tab, on my first use from the Scrivener RTF files I

  • Resource citation title link

it seems that when I paste text from a Logos resource I have into an external document, the title's sub-surface link is foremost a web link -- Clicking the title's link in the document opens a browser tab besides taking me to the resource in my desktop app. I know I can get into the subtexted link and massage it to something akin to "logosres:esv;ref

  • Re: Sorry, there was a problem with your last request!

Thank you Graham, Re RC7: That is the state of Scrivener's next Windows' full version; It's latest released version is 1.9.9+. (My Logos is 8.14.) My core idiosyncratic issue is that I am using Scrivener a bit too databasey/textbasey for it to comfortably handle; and my use of Logos' word processing wants it to be more responsive (and featured?), perhaps

  • Re: Sorry, there was a problem with your last request!

Graham, Yes I have; thanks. And I have even thought of putting my decades of articles, research, and thoughts (now in Scrivener) into Logos as well, ~ 30k. However, two quick observations: As I understand Favorites, I'd have to be working in Logos to use them ... which leads to the second ... I find Scrivener to be generally easier, more capable, as

Kevin: Thank you, this will be of use until I get the 'Sorry' resolved. (And otherwise regardless!) In fact I do have some Google 'Logos' tabs open right now, but not done with the OPERATORS ... thanks. Re my reason for searching the Forum 'today', Poking around, I've found the URL copy option, which will serve my purpose of having a ready link outside

  • Sorry, there was a problem with your last request!

Why do I get "Sorry, there was a problem with your last request!"? My Tracker Blockers report none blocked. My custom Firefox (in Windows) privacy setting re cookies is not selected; And I've tested without the cryptominer and fingerprinting blocking enabled. This 'Sorry' began a little while ago, but not a very long ago. (I was searching variously

  • Re: bagster's daily light

Thank you Graham, No I do not have that resource: Thanks for the link. However as you did understand, my interest in Daily Light was for the homepage--and for a rendition that quotes the entire verses besides. (Most renditions don't have the patience for even the full single verses: Context can be so distracting. ) g

  • bagster's daily light

Coming from Bibleworks, I appreciated the simplicity yet (mostly) unedited verse cross-referencing of Bagster's Daily Light; it would be of use to have that on my HomePage. Is that possible? (When I searched for "bagster's", the forum search function fails.)

  • Duplicate 'sales' pitches on desktop Homepage

(Aside from the fact that I have already gotten my free workflows...) It is not unusual for my Home Page to have duplicate tiles, today's being "Redeem Your Free Workflows": The links take me to the same place, an empty shopping cart with an explanation that I already have the 'item'. Given the 'smarts' with which I am impressed from Logos, it would

  • Re: Fonts installed for/by Logos items

Well, thank you all! All very interesting; however, aside from the 'attach to Word' reminder, this leaves me where I was--unable to ID unusually used font families among those that W7 (Windows 7) shows me, which are yet likely to be on another's PC. (I suspect the Word doc does not install the font on the other's machine--not a PC (!) idea.) thx again

Thank you Todd (and again, earlier, Dominic) You guys have answered my questions about logos fonts entirely. gl

  • Re: Fonts installed for/by Logos items

Thank you HTH, Dominic! Precisely to the point: It has been a very long time since I was functionally aware of this, all the way back to my Word Perfect days in the 90s. I have only very recently installed Word 2010 on our new PC so I have not had the chance to get into its options. Thank you again! Your answer will do the end-product trick (provided

  • Fonts installed for/by Logos items

I realize that Logos items/products will install font families as each needs. But once installed, how can i know which among all my fonts are unique to MY pc (due to Logos) and which are not? I want to make sure, or at least be reasonably so, that a font family i use in a document to others (likely to not have any Logos installed) will see the type
