I wanted to add my thanks to this thread as well! I still use Logos/Verbum/FL resources every single day, and this no-strings-attached birthday code is always a welcome surprise. I picked out Gospel of Thomas from the Critical Ed. of Q, and What The Saints Said about Heaven. Thanks again, and please know that FL has given the world some powerful tools
One of the features that we still need on the Home Page card is for the selection of the date to not actually open the Layout, but to simply give you the options for the Liturgical Date. For example, today's options are (1) Saturday of the Seventh Week of Easter, or (2) St. Rita or (3) Pentecost Vigil. These options have

RE: the "Today" button, I find that this morning (5/21/2021), when I click the Today link in LotH, it has no effect. If i manually enter "May 21" into the location/navigation box within the LotH resource itself, it likewise has no effect. However, if I enter "Easter Time 7 Fri" into the location/navigation box for LotH, it automatically navigates to

My copy of LotH (surprise) downloaded today. Clicking on the -Today- link doesn't seem to do anything, and I have absolutely no idea how to navigate within this thing. Any pointers?

This is a really impressive resource; just a few clicks after my quick lookup of Purgatory, I was adding notes to City of God in an impromptu study session. I'm really glad that I'll have this in the library going forward! Thanks, and Merry Christmas everbody.

Hi Donald, I've had a Community Pricing bid on Catholic Encyclopedia since February of 2013, and I'm extremely happy that I'll be able to participate in the coming preorder. 👍🏽
-
Thanks all for the feedback. It may be a little while before I can make the upgrade leap that I'd like to, so being able to add the (long desired) Catholic Encyclopedia would be a terrific addition to tide me over until then.
-
What happens to the Community Pricing bids/bidders? Does an arbitrary "strike price" get set on this as a pseudo pre-order, or does the Catholic Encyclopedia just count as something like a failed community pricing attempt?
-
Thank you so much FL! Y'all are changing people's lives.

Hi Ted, You need a complete FL profile, and you need to have the right notification option(s) selected. I think that the following blog post contains the correct details. Please see below. https://blog.logos.com/2015/02/are-you-missing-out-on-your-birthday-gift/

Thank you FaithLife/Logos for the birthday code -- I'm not sure how I still get surprised by what has been an annual occurrence, but you know what they say: the memory is the second thing to go. Still using Verbum on a daily basis for devotional reading, study, prep for youth group ministry, general reading, etc. Thanks again and God bless y'all.

Hi Catholic forum, Our household, like many (I presume), uses a budget based on monthly cycles. January 2019 has been a pretty busy month for pre-publication titles on my account, and I would like to talk about a couple of scenarios which have taken place: Prepub (PP) title one: Ignatius Press Theology/Discipleship collection; 79.99 PP/99.99 reg. pricing;

Thank you Dan. Yep, I'm hoping I can get that code to someone in the coming weeks -- this (free) copy of Verbum 7 Fundamentals has more features than the Catechism Collection I started with in Logos 4!
-
Thanks Donald and everyone at FL/Verbum for the cool surprise! I am waiting to hear back from someone at my parish to see if she would like the copy and will offer it to other members of the ministry in which I am involved if I don't hear back from her. Is there an expiration date on this offer that I should be aware of?

Hi Ronald, One approach with Logos 8 would be to make Notebooks for each new Layout. Capture your thoughts, insights, discoveries, etc. in a note/highlight as you have been doing, and then file the note under a notebook. That's step one. Here's a page from Logos with screenshots, etc: https://blog.logos.com/2018/12/learn-to-maximize-the-new-notes-tool

If you have the time, I think that calling Verbum/Logos sales at 888-875-9491 will get you the best possible deal. You can explain your situation and they might be able to offer you pricing or offers which are not available via the website. I think that buying Verbum 8 feature upgrade or Verbum 8 Bronze will likely be the least expensive option (~

Got my coupon the other day and put it towards Jimmy Akin's studies on the Gospel of Mark. Thanks again FL! God bless y'all.

There is a collection of books in the pre-pub program right now which I think might be of benefit to Logos users in general, and Catholic/Verbum users in particular. Ignatius Press has assembled a group of books by Archbishop Fulton Sheen, Frank J. Sheed, Aidan Nichols, Erasmus Leiva-Merikakis, Mark Shea, and Cardinal Schonborn. You can check out the

Added Sacra Pagina to the library as a result of this year's March Madness discounts. Thanks FL for the cool yearly sale, and thanks to the Verbum team and Catholic FaithLife groups/message board folks for bringing the different Catholic tournament participants to everybody's attention.

it looks like Logos has removed the option for the old reliable Logos 4 font.
No suggestions, but FL no longer has the right to distribute the said typeface.
Is the font sold as a standalone? I wouldn't be opposed to buying a license if it weren't too dear. Would you happen to know
