Thanks. This fixed a crash that happened every time I opened the Passage Guide.

I finally got mine to work. For me at least, the problem was not solved until I installed new cd books into L3, so I could have them in L4. Even though I was previously able to access them in L3, I had noticed there was not an Activation Code in the Account Summary where the Demo is listed. When I installed the new books . . . the Demo got and activation

no . . . i have not expiring licenses.

No such luck here . . . I can view it fine in L3, but it has never showed up in L4 . . . I've tried scanning and even putting the actually file into the appropriate folder and erasing the db file.

Let me know what response you get . . . I am having the same problem with the same resource.

thanks. next week I'll run a test connect directly to the monitor and see if the problem persists. Also, I use Displayfusion Pro . . . not sure if that could be causing the problem. I'll try disabling that as well.

My laptop is running Win 7-64. My drivers are up to date. I am using a DisplayLink dock for my 2nd monitor.

On 4.0c Beta 5 I have noticed some issues while using multiple monitors (actually I think this has been an issue the last couple of releases, but I had not gotten around to reporting). 1) Layouts do not restore as they were saved - example: If i save a layout when it is on my 2nd monitor and later I come back and restore that same layout . . . it opens

thanks for your quick reply!

I might just be ignorant of how to do this . . . but it would be nice to be able to copy and paste the information in a pop-up window. I would imagine something like holding down the the shift key when a popup is showing would then allow you to select text in that popup to copy and paste.

Is there any idea when the LDGNT might be fixed? The HDNT seems to be working fine with the tool tip Window, but the LDGNT is pretty unusable. Most things you can hover/click and the partial info will show up in the Information box, but you then have to click on that to open up the glossary to read the full text. This is not a very user friendly way

Is it necessary to backup the folders other than "Documents"? Does that contain all the personal settings? I am creating symbolic links so it can be backed up by Dropbox. I have created a link so that Logos4\Documents is backed up. Should I backup any of the other folders? And if there is a problem do I need to restore everything? Or can I just restore

Thanks! I saw that notes.db file before, but didn't think all of my notes would be lumped into one file like that . . . it makes me a little scared of how easily it could get corrupted . . . anyway . . . So how could I restore this notes.db file. Can I close L4, replace the file, and restart? Or would that then replace my replacement with the data from

This morning I started using the "Notes" functionality for the first time to do my sermon prep . . . usually I use OneNote. After working for a bit and accumulating a decent amount of notes . . . I began to think . . . do I have a backup of this? what happens if Logos crashes? will i lose all my work? I know L4 backs up to the cloud, but what about

I am glad they added the the actual text of verses to the Passage List . . . . they can be easily copied and pasted into Word, etc. The only problem is that long passages are truncated . . . I understand the reasoning for this because potentially you could have chapters or extremely long passages in your List . . . but it would be nice to have an individual

Update: turned of the interlinear and it hasn't crashed again yet. I will repost if it does. I definitely need this fix because I constantly use the interlinear mode.

Logos 4.0c Beta 1 keeps crashing every time I try open up certain Layouts as well as when I change scripture references. Any ideas? Logs are attached. I have tried many of the other fixes in other posts (e.g. deleting certain folders from the appdata folder, etc.). 2678.Logos4Crash.txt 3821.Logos4.log

I'm not sure if this helps to figure out what the problem is, but because I am running Windows 7-64, I have two installations of L3: one in Windows 7 and one in Virtual PC running XP, so I could access old L2 resources. I just ran an "Account Summary" in both and they do not match up completely. They are nearly identical, but for some reason there are

In another post, I just saw that a user posted a link to a Logos voting mechanism ( http://logos.uservoice.com ). Is this official? Why isn't it publicized? Or have I just missed it?

Maybe I'm the only one, but I would love the functionality to open a commentary series in a tab. For instance, my devotional reading plan goes through several different books of the bible in a given day. I would love to have the functionality to choose a series to follow along as I do my different readings. Right now I am really only able to use one
