• Re: What are the best Dictionaries / Encyclopedias?

The InterVarsity Press The New Bible Dictionary, Third Edition, has always been my favorite, but I do like other ones. If you are looking for deeper works, then there others that I like. I am guessing from the question, you are looking for general dictionaries, correct?

I am sure if I were to reread it, I would want to totally rewrite it; however, I will be happy to share it. Is there a place to share such a thing written many
However the Pentecostal community is lacking a prolific writer like John MacArthur or some of the Moody authors.
I am not sure I would group all charismatic or Third Wavers in the Pentecostal tradition. I myself attended an Assemblies of God church for years, but could never fully buy into the initial evidence belief
You've got a point there! But how much do those Americans actually know about Br Roger's theology?
I have never, ever heard of him. That was the first time that name ever came up in my 25 years of walking with the Lord. The link was interesting. I am not sure I get the draw, so forgive me for maybe just missing it. Blessings
Part of the problem is definitions... as a Presbyterian pastor, I won't fit anyone's definition of pentecostal/charismatic, though I think of myself as more Presbycostal than frozen chosen. (just trying to lighten things up. lol)
! !

Is this what you need? Three attachments... 1. Both 3G/4G up and WiFi running 8424.info_1.zip 2. WiFi only 0820.info_2.zip 3. 3G/4G only 8053.info_3.zip Also, I did not send this to support. Should I?

Yes, that is very simple. When I have some time, I will do this. We are moving this weekend from an apartment to a town house, so I have some boxes I need to take care and need to finish up for work early this week. Thank you for the explanation from the both of you. It is much appreciated.

I forgot to mention it, but when I sync via only one way, I do NOT have to leave to close the app from the multitask tray and then re-open it. I can simply close and re-open it and all sources are updated immediately. There is not a need to worry about the multitask window any longer. Cool.

Maybe there is something that connection is trying to do that a network security setting might see as a threat and
Can I just check - does it work properly if you disable 3G/4G and try to use Wifi? Trying to work out whether there is some problem when both network stacks are enabled
Actually, yes. It does work properly if I only use WiFi and not 3G/4G. I wonder if this is a conflict of some sort in iOS5 or on the iPhone. Interesting

Okay, I was curious about the Wifi and 4G syncing, so on a hunch I disabled my WiFi today and lo and behold... instantaneous syncing of the resources... once I close and reopen them. No issues. It appears that the WiFi syncing is not quite as smooth and may be the culprit for the issue. I will be sure to use my 3G/4G for syncing the app when I make

  • NICNT and NICOT... do they ever offer a payment plan for longer than 12 or 18 months?

I am curious, as I cannot afford the $1600 for such a series, even with the payment plans. The perfect solution would be to have it on sale and be able to pay that off in 24 or more months. Has Logos ever offered an extended payment plan for very expensive resources? Maybe they can offer a Logos credit card? I keep coming back to this commentary and

Uhm... okay, but did you at least see the point in the post? Might you be so closely looking at the tree that you might have missed the forest here. Just wondering. It reminds me of the story that Charles Stanley told in the his book, "Winning the War Within," but I digress. On a side note, interesting on the origins and as Rupertus Meldenius said.
1. As a matter of history (not arguing doctrine here), charismatic influence in the church is largely a 20th century phenomenon. As such, "classic" commentaries aren't going to mention it much. I'm using the word "classic" here to simply mean old. Logos uses it similarly in it's "classic" commentaries bundles - all of which are public

I only have an undergraduate degree in Biblical and Theological Studies but would love to get my M.Div. at some point. I grew up Episcopalian but had a dramatic conversion at age 17 when I visited a non-denominational church. The pastor (a 20 year Southern Baptist who had a 7 point sermon for the cessation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit only to have
