Or you can use Method 2 at Quick Installation onto multiple computers ....
The method Dave has suggested would probably be the preferred method. You'll want to be aware that the index will need to be rebuilt to recognize the new location.

  • Re: Moving L4 to another Drive

Hey guys, In theory, renaming the folders, like Dave explained, so you can install to the same drive/directory on two computers, should work, but I caution you, the Logos Support staff does not support this type of installation. Installing any software to an external drive is dangerous. External drives, by nature, do not hold on to their drive letter
I did notice that most of the Berhof resources are still not logos4. Is that right? Can you confirm for us which files should be logos4 and which, if any, are the older format?
Yes, like many of our pre-pubs, Berkhof is in Libronix-Compatible format (.lbxlls).

Hey Everyone, Our apologies for the delay and all thr trouble. We did find a problem in our Distribution data that was preventing the download of Berkhof's books in Logos 4. This has been repaired on our end, but it is possible that you have already downloaded the bad data which is causing the error. To repair this, close Logos 4 and Right-Click on

  • Re: Understanding Circumcision = Cut Off

Hey Mike, A couple questions: 1.) What is your screen resolution? 2.) Is this the only article you've seen cut short like that? Also, it might be helpful to verify, you're using the latest Alpha, right? I'm afraid there's probably not a whole lot we can do, since the home page will change and resize itself every day, but if you are still seeing the

Okay, we'll make sure the Mac Dev's know about it, and hopefully they will be able to track down the problem. Thank you for your input. This kind of input is what makes Alpha/Betas work. Mike

  • Re: Another Windows Experience Rating Question

Hey Jarred, Logos 4 is, graphically, much more resource intensive than Logos 3 ever was. Now that we're using the Microsoft .NET Framework and WPF, we're able to make everything look much cleaner, smoother and interactive. The downside of this, is that we require a much heftier video card to render all those layers. Turning off the visual filters should
I'm not sure if you are one of the programmers, but one other question if you don't mind (and if you know the answer)...does Logos take any advantage of the WDDM 1.1 features that are available with a DX10.1 or higher card? That has been another question on my mind since the 7600GT is DX10 and therefore (from my understanding

Hello Zachary, I apologize for the trouble. In order to troubleshoot this problem, we'll need to capture some log files. I think I got it guys. Thanks for the additional info. This only occurs in columned view where more than 1 column is visible, or so it seems. Can you confirm on your end? I'll report a bug on it.

Hey Guys, The free "Engine Only" download is, indeed, now available in several places (on the wiki and the website). It's worth noting, this does not include the new tools and datasets in a Logos 5 Base Package, but it will get your current material into the new book shelf so to speak. Warning: (Ben, I wonder if this might be your problem) Logos 5.0a

Hello Ron, I apologize for the difficulty. Your log "stops" also - as if it's waiting for input. Is it possible Logos has opened to the Sign In window, but is not visible? We've seen this invisible window issue occur on computers using Apple's "Air Display" for iPad, or connecting extra monitors through a USB port or dock. You may want to try disabling

  • Re: Placeholder Template?

Sorry guys, I wasn't that clear. The "Place Holder Template" was caused by a bug that occurred during a sync update. It did not affect all users, but some users would have had 1 custom guide replaced by the "place holder template" guide. I'm told this should have interrupted the process and prevented further guides from being lost. The resulting "Place

  • Re: Bug: Logos 5 crashes when PRINT

Hello Stephen, Apologies for the trouble. We're currently investigating the possibility of certain visual filters that might cause this sort of problem. Can you try printing/export without any visual filters enabled on your resource? Does this work? Do you get the same behavior form other types of panels, like the Text Comparison tool, or Passage Guide

  • Re: Mass Prioritize Delete?

Hello Curtis, You should be able to de-prioritize a series by right-clicking it in the priority list. You'll recognize series as bolder in the list: If you added them by multi-selecting, instead of using the series function, there is no way to remove them all at once. I'm not sure if this is planned to change in the future, but you could certainly suggest

Hello Martin, I apologize I don't have any direct solutions for this, but I can provide some insight. Microsoft is slowly, but steadily, depreciating the Smart Tags feature. They keep burying it deeper in the settings and will likely remove it entirely at some point. Long-term, you may have better luck using the Copy Bible Verses tool. On Windows, you
