Thanks for the tips. I am trying to read across windows and iOS devices and the lack of this feature just drives me nuts. I can’t understand why logos hasn’t fixed this. I read lots of books in parallel, and my memory is terrible so if I close them I am unlikely to remember what to open. I did use book tags (“read this”, “irreadit“

For some reason, I lost my Logos screen saver I had on my PC. I would like to get it back, but I cant find it when searching the site or the forum. Does anyone know the link for the download?

This was exactly what was doing it -- thank you! I have so many visual filters now, it is a bit daunting to figure out what is doing what! I wish that you could hover a mouse over an area in the text and get a tip about what features were active on that text (sort of like you can to interrogate what highlighting applies to that word).

Although a long time user, somewhere along the line Logos became more complex than I have maintained mastery in. I have some setting somewhere that is causing words in the ESV to get bolded. I haven't highlighted them, so I suspect some kind of Visual Filter is at work--but there doesn't seem to be a pattern to what gets highlighted. Need to get advice

Always interesting what I am still unaware of! Keep smiling; very interesting—did you create those palletes yourself, or is your last pic from a built-in capability i’ve Not discovered yet?

Glad that work continues on Notes! This new feature made Logos work for me again. I watched the Notes tutorial today (the one with the british accent), and I was unable to drag notes into a notes file like the video showed (on PC, L8). Seems like a bug to me. I found another way of changing the notes file assignment for the notes (highlights), but it

Same here. I have tried to force a sync, but don’t get that same thing...but all my bible highlights have disappeared in the iOS app now. Argh.

There is a reading list that I created on the desktop. I want to add it to the dashboard in the mobile application. However, the mobile application will only let me select automatic reading plans. Oddly, one or two of my old self generated reading plans do appear on the dashboard.

I built a custom reading plan for Feb, but shared it with the wrong Faithlife account for our church (we wound up with two accounts, so it gets confusing). I tried to edit the reading plan so I could reassign the "with", but it doesn't seem to be an option. I would up starting a new reading plan, importing the "old one", then I deleted the "old one

I just noticed that yesterday there was an update to the iOS logos app. I downloaded that, and my notes just sync’d. Problem solved, I think.

I am a FL Essentials subscriber, and on PC now use the Logos 8 app. How do I get the notes I am taking on iOS Logos app to show up elsewhere?

Perfect help—I hadn’t noticed that I wasn’t still signed in. I did, and the price was discounted to zero. I’m waiting for the email with the download link now! thank you—-the forums are still the place to go for great help!

Thank you for the tip; I found that email in junk. The link it gave me put me in a store, but it wants to charge me $3k for the l8 download. i think I need customer svc help.

I am missing something; I have L7 Diamond and am a legacy Logos Now / FL Essentials subscriber. I tried the link you gave, but it took me to an empty shopping cart. My W10 L7 application says there are no updates when I "Update Now". Should I be seeing a download for the L8 client, or can I only use the L8 features via Logos Cloud? Quite confused, despite

The original, although I did look at the new system online (and made no changes)

I've noticed a couple times when highlighting over the last day or so that I will put a highlight in a resource, then in the next minute it will disappear. It seems to go away when the system syncs -- but other times the highlights persist. Anyone else seeing this problem? I'm running this on Win10.
-
I don't know when it happened, but in some recent update my PC starting showing my highlights within minutes of starting up -- much like the iOS app has done for a while now. For many years, my ESV (which I extensively highlighted) hasn't shown its highlights until I left Logos running for 20 minutes (desktop) into several hours (laptop). Now even the

Highlights are pinned to a resource, and it is a different resource...so they are probably not transferable. That said, your notes file for the other resource is probably still on your computer (depending on how you have highlights/notes set up). Maybe an admin can repoint that notes file to the new resource and they will appear.
-
If you want to keep your highlights, but just not see them right now, on the iOS mobile app tap on the three dots at the upper right when you are reading. Then go down to the bottom of the menu that pops up and select “Notes On”. That will then open a menu that will show you all the notes files that you have turned on. One or more of those

Yes. In my case, I have a ton of highlights, and have surpassed the number that the product developers probably had in mind. This causes many problems, but I suspect a big one is that Logos 7 (in my case) now needs a lot of RAM in order to start up. On my 4GB laptop, it can take hours for Logos to fully render all highlights. On my 6GB desktop, it takes
