• Re: Logos 7 Features vs Logos Now Features

Thanks Rick. I had seen the first post above before, but did not notice at the time that it highlights the subscription only features.

  • Logos 7 Features vs Logos Now Features

I am a long-time user of Logos and tend to prefer ownership over renting. I am currently a Logos Now subscriber, but am curious about buying the Logos 7 Feature Set vs continuing Logos Now. Is there any current Logos Now feature that is not a part of the Logos 7 feature set? I know there will be features added to Logos Now later that are not part of

Thanks for the responses. I understand what is going on now. The explanation at https://community.logos.com/forums/p/129215/840409.aspx#840409 was very helpful.

This is very confusing. At the bottom of each product page there is a heading stating "Feature Set Resources You'll Get". I click on "new to you" and there is a list of all of the new L7 features. If they are not included in the base packages, why are they listed as if they are?

  • Re: New & Improved Logos Now Membership Program Coming Soon

I think this qualifies as a major change and will change how I approach my library. I have been a long-time user of Logos (since 2003) and have over 8000 resources in my library. I have most of the resources I want, though I still watch for deals on others. In the old model, I would spend around $600 to upgrade my base package and obtain all of the

Seems like this move sets up how Faithlife intends to offer Logos 7 when it is released. Look at the following discussion for more info: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/124231.aspx

  • Re: Installing Earlier Versions of Logos
No. it says that Logos 5 requires at least Vista SP2. What it is recommending is that users upgrade to a version of the operating system that allows them to install a supported version of Logos
You're right, Graham. I saw the "System requirements" link and clicked on it. It says Windows 7 SP1, but that link is

That's interesting. It says L5 does not work with Vista, but I know I used it on a Vista laptop. Anyway, if it does not work, you can also find L4 here: https://www.logos.com/support/logos4/install.
I need to do a temporary install of Logos on an older machine that runs Windows Vista, and I understand that Logos 6 will not work with that OS. Here are my questions: 1) What is the latest version of the software that WILL run on Vista, and 2) Where can I download the needed files to install it?
I ran Logos 5 on a

  • Re: NSBT Sale
Let's remove the concept that prepub price is a guaranteed low price. Buy at prepub if it seems a fair price and you want it in production. If not, gamble that it will some day be cheaper and makes it out of prepub somehow. That's the way the rest of life works. Why should this be different?
Agree!
(On a side note, I thought the prepub price was the best price one could get on a product from Logos. This current sale, just 7 months after the prepub shipped, is cheaper than the original prepub price. $349-$50(coupon) = $299. The prepub price was $320.)
Actually, with the sale, it's not $349-$50(coupon) = $299 because the

  • Re: Documents not being synced

I wasn't able to check until this morning because the computer where I created the documents is in my office. I went in and started Logos and allowed it to sync. No change. The documents are on my office PC, but only the title with no content appears at documents.logos.com (and on my other PCs and mobile devices).

  • Re: Narrative reading plan

Thanks again, MJ. I played around with the searches you outline above. Using Anderson Forbes, it is also possible to select "story" as a genre. That seems to get at it a bit better. However, I think I would be better off starting with the reading plan you originally offered and going from there.

  • Re: Documents not being synced

Sorry I did not see the follow up to this thread until now. I have three Clippings documents that are giving me sync issues. All were created on the same desktop PC, which is running Windows 10 and Logos 6.11.0.0041. Two of the documents were files that I created a couple of years ago and had no trouble with. However, I recently added clippings to them

  • Re: Narrative reading plan

Is there a way to isolate passages of Scripture based on genre? Say a search that would return all passages that genre=narrative?

  • Re: Narrative reading plan

Hi Graham. I was not aware I could do that. I have created custom plans in the past, but never using the passage list feature . I'll give it a try and let you know if I have any questions.

  • Re: Narrative reading plan

Hi, MJ. Thank you. This is close to what I was after. I will probably add a few things like Ruth and Job and all of the Gospels, but it will save me some time when I put together a custom plan. Thanks again!

  • Narrative reading plan

I would like to read through the narrative of Scripture using a reading plan. Anyone know of such a plan or tips on easiest way to set it up?
