  • Re: LearnLogos.com Training - Any user ?

Agree with everyone above...I have almost all of his training webinars and they are very very informative. John has an excellent way of bringing together all the logos tools, tips and tricks in simple lessons that have practical applications for bible study, preaching, teaching etc. Tim

  • Re: prioritizing books by author

HI, I know what you may be trying to say...what does (author) say about _____. I have created collections of my favourite authors (see below for a sample) and do a search of that collection. You can (as i have done) create a custom passage guide and insert this collection in there too. Hope this helps. Tim

[quote user="Daniel R. Smith"] What I do is develop a sentence flow diagram, then annotate the relationships of the clauses. Something similar to what Osborne teaches in his book "Hermeneutical Spiral" (page 49 fig 1.7). I am also trying to implement the observational markups as described in "Grasping God's Word" by Duvall and Hays (page 38, Romans

  • Signals inside powerpoint

Hi All, Is there a way to stagger the signals inside a powerpoint presentation (loaded into proclaim) so they beam when the show is in progress? Example: Slide 1 - Col 2:1-7 Slide 14 - Acts.... I don't want Acts beaming until slide 14 Thanks Tim

Hi Jacob, Your kindle export function sounds great. I'd like to do the same with my kindle, exporting the highlights to a text document then convert them to a . docx and build a PBB in logos. Have looked all around amazon and can find the highlight viewer but not an export feature. How do you do it? Thanks Tim

  • Re: heifer NEAR hyssop

Or you could use the search term "WITHIN 10 WORDS" (change the number "10" to widen or refine your search results e.g. could be WITHIN 20 WORDS etc.) Personally I find this search term a whole lot more controllable than the NEAR or AND operators. Tim
