In a recent update I've noticed an error that impacts how I commonly use Logos. I usually select a portion of text and copy it for printing in a word processor but I've noticed that the text selection has problems when dragging a large portion of text. I start at one place in the text but by the time I am done dragging to the

Mosheim, Johann Lorenz von (1694–1755), ecclesiastical historian and divine. Educated at the University of Kiel, in 1723 he became professor of theology at Helmstedt and in 1747 at Göttingen, in the founding of which university he himself had taken an important part. His historical work was marked by a hitherto unprecedented objectivity and penetration
The lifeworks library does not include the full set of MacArthur commentaries. It only has 1&2 Tim. and Titus.
Thanks Todd - I was deceived by the title!
Since Logos is not selling the MacArthur’s NT Commentaries Collection (30 volumes) anymore
Hi Stephan Try a Google Search for "eBible The MacArthur Lifeworks Library" this was a Thomas Nelson package that was based on Logos 3, there are still some online retailers who claim to have stock and you can load the books

See Denise's reply, it does not work as you may have imagined. See attached.

Hi Michael This might be a good place to start... https://www.logos.com/product/3090/woman-in-the-bible

Got Logos 1.5 or 1.6 as the replacement for a product that I can not remember the name of. Then upgraded to Logos 2.0 in 1996 and been upgrading ever since!
-
Hi John This does happen occasionally typically because Logos manage to secure an additional book for a collection or because there are issues with a publisher that means that a book becomes unavailable. In my experience this happens to very few orders and by making us aware of the change Logos give us the option to cancel if we want. The only alternative

The reaction to Judenfrage was swift, from Jewish writers and from German representatives of New Testament scholarship who disavowed his stance. It may be said that the National Socialist movement used Kittel’s work as an intellectual rationale for their policy regarding Jews. In May 1933, Kittel joined the National Socialist Labor Party (NSDAP) and

But at the same time, of course, Christianity needed to define itself in relation to Judaism; and that has, down the years, produced a crop of disasters. From the Greek church father John Chrysostom in the early period to the sixteenth-century reformer Martin Luther, and on to the renowned New Testament scholar Gerhard Kittel in Nazi Germany, there

Personally I don't let Logos start to the home page so I don't see any ads unless I choose to.
what features, resources or programs do you love about L4 that are causing you to balk at upgrading to Logos 5?
To be honest if I had realised that the Learning Hebrew and Greek DVD set would be rendered obsolete by the upgrade I may not have bothered. I guess this means that I miss the resources that the methodology taught
-
Yes, I know there are still a lot of L4 users who haven't upgraded yet, but that's their choice
I suspect that some would argue that it is not their choice because Logos 5 does not work with XP, see comment from the support FAQ below... Q: I have Windows XP or Apple OS X 10.5; why didn't Logos 4 update automatically
-
As a committed long term user would upgrade anyway. More interesting question is why I chose the upgrade path I did? Answer is that an upgrade that I had been considering was made much more attractive financially.

Same here, hoping that the email was sent in error.

I agree that we need the original date of the text preserved even if means another meta data option. I have a set of collections that divide my library by date that I use with the citation tool so that I can see how peoples thinking on some texts has changed (or not) over time. Being able to do things like this is the power of the digital library but
Also it would be stand-alone so I could tag it as "FINISHED" once I've read it, even if I haven't read the other works of his that come in that ECF volume.
One of the benefits of the digital format is that Logos are not restricted to the physical book format, we see this when multi volume collections ship as single

I have it.
Brent, As you can see, you are the only respondant ... not sure what is the next step.
This has been asked before and to date I do not believe we have received a definite answer from Logos.
maybe a sligthly discounted upgrade which if so would be a new policy, and a free upgrade sounds most unlikely
A big part of the challenge here is that I am not sure that we have had a similar position to this before as the videos in question were designed to help users get the most out of facilities in Logos 4 that relied
