You have been given many helpful suggestions. I would add one more: The New Treasury of Scripture Knowledge https://www.logos.com/product/1214/the-new-treasury-of-scripture-knowledge Technically, it isn't a topical Bible, but it is a very good resource. I happened to stumble across it in my library a few months back and wanted to share this so that
Which means "do it now" so that you don't forget!
It is done! Thanks so much for noting this in the forums. A most excellent deal - MERRY CHRISTMAS

So does this mean that I should go ahead and buy it now -meaning I will actually be charged $4.99 when it releases? Or wait until 12/28?

Michael, great to hear of your calling and beginning to train in seminary. I am writing to you as a 20+ year SBC pastor as well as an extensive Logos user since 2008. Here is my advice....First of all, totally ignore the denominational labels of the packages and the number of books you will be getting. Focus like a laser exclusively on which resources

I agree completel. Hated it the first time I used it, but once I got the hang of the value of the changes became very clear. Well done.

ISBE and Baker - and get Lexham for free.

Thanks, DAL. I corrected it.

If you don't have it, do not miss this opportunity to get Chafer's systematic at an incredible price this weekend... https://www.logos.com/product/2223/systematic-theology I have had this on my wish list for over three years and it never went below the regular $165. You can snap it up today for $59. Absolutely incredible resource for the money. I have

In my opinion, this is the best deal of the Black Friday sale.... https://www.logos.com/product/2223/systematic-theology Don't miss the opportunity to snap up this classic systematic for an incredible price. I have watched this set for three years now and it hasn't gone below $165.00. You can buy it this weekend for $59.

You already have the two best in ISBE and Baker. I have the Zondervan but rarely ever open it. I use the ISBE and Baker, and the Holman Illustrated Bible Dictionary is excellent for a quick, basic reference. Those are my three "go to" dictionaries. If you have those three, I see little use for buying the Zondervan. While these are certainly sufficient

This is an excellent price and this set is absolutely worth it. If you don't have it, get it now.

As stated earlier in this thread, the "overlapping material" is taken care of through dynamic pricing. As for contacting sales to get a better price, I have been a customer since 2008 and I have never gotten a better price on a base package from a salesperson beyond their promotional sales i.e. 15% off, 20% off. However, there have been a number of

In looking at the sales, I would say that the prices for the Word Biblical Commentary and the Expositor's Bible Commentary are good, solid prices. Maybe not the best price you will ever get for those, but they are both resources that are worth those prices. Personally, I consider those both "must have" resources. Finally, rather than chasing sales,
I think that one of the best additions anyone can make to their Logos library is the 8 volume IVP Bible Dictionary series. It is unique in that each volume focuses on one particular section of the Bible. I constantly find excellent detailed material, very well organized, that I do not find elsewhere. The set is 8800 pages
Thank you- I own posb in word search. I also own Lange's in Logos. Please let me know of any resource that is good with Outlying of the text- appreciate your help
Steven, specifically resources that outline the text well you might want to check on these.... https://www.logos.com/product/47134/john-phillips-commentary

At some point along the way, I acquired it as part of a package or on community pricing. It has some value and isn't "bad" but for that amount of money, I would rather spend a little more and and get this https://www.logos.com/product/45617/the-preachers-outline-and-sermon-bible If you are looking for something less expensive but also along these same

Chafer's systematic theology anything by Charles Ryrie Thomas Constables notes (really a mid-level commentary on the entire Bible) MacArthur Commentaries John Phillips Commentaries

I have both Pillar and the Tyndale series on the whole Bible. They are both excellent. However, if I could only have one, I would choose Tyndale because it covers the entire Bible and offers great "bang for the buck." Pillar is one of the better NT commentary sets but is more indepth and doesn't yet over the entire NT.

I agree with the above. The set has some decent volumes, and it is worth picking up on sale, but the present price is waaaaaayyyyy too expensive for what you get. Much better choices out there for the money.
EBC now is the wisest choice in my mind, I have never scene the EBCR go on sale at a significant savings. You end up with some outstanding commentaries at a phenomenal price. NIC is a good solid series but dolllar for dollar I still think you get the biggest bang from EBC.
I agree with Dan. The originial EBC for
