Update... I ended up restoring Logos 8 from Time Machine (back to the Applications folder) That worked. I then deleted Logos 9 and restarted Logos 8 just to make sure things A-OK. Happy Camper here! Thanks again for your help! Chris

Thank you all for replying! I managed to recover Logos 8.17.0.22 (backup from a few days ago) from Time Machine and save it to an empty folder on the desktop. Drag that into the Applications folder? That sounds too easy! Before I try that, I'll wait to see if anyone has a better suggestion. The Logos Wiki link for older versions of the application has

Greetings, I downloaded and installed Logos 9 (upgraded from Logos 8) on an iMac (macOS 10.13.6) The error message obviously reads that I need macOS 10.14 or later. I have an older iMac machine. I'm unable to update to macOS 10.14. Most application program updates inform me that I'm unable to upgrade to a newer version if my macOS version won't support

1. Running an iMac w/Yosemite. 2. Upgraded to Logos 6 Extended Crossgrade yesterday (12/25). 3. Open Tools - Atlas. (today 12/26) 4. Did a search. 5. Error Message: Unable to retrieve map data. (Retry) 6. Clicked the retry button. Again. Again. And again. 7. Eventually, Logos had enough, crashed, and closed. 8. Rinsed and repeated with same results

Thanks! Kraybill's "The Upside-Down Kingdom" already is in my "wish list". I'll check out your other suggestions!

Gospel and Kingdom (Graeme Goldsworthy) God's Big Picture (Vaughn Roberts) I'd pre-order these!

Timeline is a great feature! Puzzled in intuitive search method. For example: Look for "Book" in time period: Assyrian Exile (Judah Continues) (722-605 BC) in search mode: "Biblical" and all that appears is 621 BC The Book of the Law is found. When I switch to "All" mode, then the various books of Micah, Isaiah, etc., show up. Wouldn't it make sense
Clean install isn't an option. I'm running the most recent Beta from the beta forum, i.e. Logos Bible Software 4.6 Beta 1 (4.60.0.2634)
'Tis the latest L4 beta version that's not playing nice with Mountain Lion. How easy is it to backtrack the beta? In other words, install previous beta versions? One of those may work well
Installed Mt Lion over lion, 2010 iMac in sig. Latest beta of L4.
What do you mean by "Latest beta of L4?" Do you mean version? (Logos Bible Software 4.5c SR-3 (4.53.0.2294)) Could you do a clean install of ML or is that out-of-the question?
Still crashing here.
What type of machine are you installing Mountain Lion (ML) on? Is it the official release or a Beta version? Installed the ML official release over Snow Leopard today and no problems so far.
...Several users who have been beta testing 10.8 have said that things are running smoothly with Logos, but use caution when updating, especially if you only have one machine....
So, the good news is that Jesus has risen! The other good news is that the Beta version of Mountain Lion plays nice with Logos4. Anyone run

Good suggestions from all! Having one's illustrations/Quotes in the cloud does make me pause. Ideally, I'd like to save everything in the cloud and have a copy locally on the computer. A seamless, painless way of quickly filing material and then moving on with my train of thought. There's gotta be an app for that!

Anyone thought of a way to use Logos for saving illustrations? In other words, when I come across a nifty saying, story, etc., I'd like to be able to file it somehow in Logos. While that may not be possible now, perhaps it's as simple as highlighting text, right clicking, choosing the email symbol in the "Share:" field, adding some tags, and then sending
