• Crashing when graphing search results.

Logos is crashing every time I try to graph my search results. For instance, if I do a search for all occurrences in Romans of πιστις and then click "Graph Results" it freezes. I am running Logos Bible Software 8.10 SR-2 on a Macbook Pro running 10.15.2. Has anyone else experienced this or is this a support issue?

  • Re: Content to display on presenter view and confidence monitor...not stage display

It would be paragraphs of liturgy and would switch back and forth. Here is an example of our communion liturgy. We would love the bold text to be on stage display with the rest not showing up. https://www.dropbox.com/s/wvrg68qvf16o17a/Great%20Thanksgiving%20for%20the%20Season%20After%20Pentecost.pdf?dl=0

  • Content to display on presenter view and confidence monitor...not stage display

We have parts of our litgurgy that we would love the presenter to see (on the presentation computer)..and the liturgist to see (on the confdience monoitor) but we don't want showing on the stage display. This can be done fairly easily in ProPresenter but I can't figure out how to do it in Proclaim. Is there a way?

  • Print notes as footnotes?

I regularly lead a bible study, class, group etc. where it would be nice to be able to print a pericope and have any notes that are attached via passage reference anchors print as footnotes. In some ways, this would almost generate a study bible type resource for that passage. There is no way to get anywhere close to this currently correct? I've tried

  • Using Collections in Workflows

Are we able to add collections to workflows for the Bible reference type? For instance I have a collection of all of Wesley's works. In a guide I am able to include that and have it search for that verse reference. Is that possible in workflows?

  • Sermon Editor and Spelling

Friends...I have "Check Spelling While Typing" set to "on" in my Logos preferences. Yet in my sermon editor there is no spell checking happening! I am running L7 (7.1.0.0014) on a Retina Macbook Pro with OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 installed. Does anyone have any suggestions of where to troubleshoot?

  • Frequency by Chapter

I've been exploring the concordance and was wondering if anyone had a quick solution. I'm working on noting recurrences and it will be helpful to quest have a quick count by chapter of a words frequency. For example the word xxxx occurs X times in Gen 1, X times in Gen 2 etc. This was pretty easy to do with the analysis tool in Accordance but I have

  • Re: Do you want every ebook in the world in Logos?
I don't see students paying the Logos premium for ebooks when they could purchase the book much cheaper on Amazon.
if you convince people of the vslue early on they will. Before seminary I heard about Logos and purchased a base package. In my time at Asbury I have always purchased the Logos edition of a text if it was

  • Re: Exporting Hebrew Words

Sharon, Graham's questions are going to be critical. If you are using a Mac you are going to need to use a program like LibreOffice or Mellel. Word and Pages on Mac are almost useless for working with Hebrew. It struggles with the consonants (like you mentioned) but then gets really buggy when vowels come into play.

  • Suggestion: Verse List

I wanted to bring back up a request/suggestion I have had for a longtime. When we get a list of verses the best we can get for a verse list is something like Psalm 7:7 Psalm 9:5 Psalm 9:8 Psalm 9:17 Psalm 10:5 Psalm 17:2 Psalm 25:9 Psalm 35:23 Psalm 36:7 Psalm 94:15 Psalm 140:13 Psalm 143:2 When what is really needed for scholarly papers is something

  • Re: Support of Logos Tool in support of Greek verbs

You might start with a right click. With just a few clicks I was able to open a Bible Word Study, open BDAG to that word, see other places this term had been used and understand its root. Then I ran a search on that word in my collection of Greek Grammars that returned 4 results in three rescues

  • Re: Lexham Bible Background Slides

Thanks. I missed that it was multiple things. I just say that and thought it was a single slide background that just said "Matthew." Thank you!

Not to be dense but I run the Factbook on the Gospel of Matthew and don't see it. I even read the "Search Media for "Gospel of Matthew" and it did not show up. Any ideas?

  • Re: List of scriptures

Mark, Sorry I missed your follow up. Accordance and Bibleworks both just offer a program preferences place where you can choose how these reference lists are exported. You can choose full book names, the official SBL abbreviations, or (at least in BW) you can enter your own abbreviations. We are building our language program here and many of our papers

  • PBB Versification Question

Hello All, I could use some help. I am keeping track of all of the scripture I translate. I am using the versification from the BHS in one PBB and from NA27/28 in another. Is there a way to tell the compiler that I am using that versification instead of a standard English? It is not recognizing some of it as actual Bible text when the BHS has more verses

  • Re: List of scriptures

Close. That gives you something like.... Genesis 4:16 Genesis 4:20 Genesis 11:2 Genesis 11:31 Genesis 13:6 Genesis 13:7 Genesis 13:12 That should really read Gen 4:16,20; 11:2,31;13:6-7,12 for that type of paper I am talking about. That is what I don't get. We have professors at our Seminary that complain that Logos can't do that. It seems like it would

  • Re: List of scriptures

And I literally want the opposite. I want the ability to export from a search or passage list as just a set of references. Literally just like that. It is so important for academic papers. The other two softwares do this easily but we have been asking Logos for years.

  • Re: A plea for a simple addition to 5.3

Which relates to the same request I have had for years. Both Bibleworks and Accordance let you copy search results as references. I can't beleive we don't have this functionality. It swens like something that would be so easy. It is a must have for serious text based papers, theses or dissertations.

I was doing Morph searches with no problems earlier today and then accidentally chose Persus as the second translation. Since then it crashes every time I try to run a morph search.
