Connect Essentials—No Library is worth keeping at the LN subscription price. I’ll re-engage auto-renew whenever that option is again available . I had no idea about Faithlife Connect till I stumbled onto this thread. I guess because the auto-renew on my Logos Now account is unchecked, I didn't receive the initial email about being moved to from Now to Connect and am still trying to determine what all is going on. I don't think I have received anything about Faithlife Connect, blissfully unaware

Thank you, Faithlife, for fixing this. Low light view now is excellent.
The’09 version of Pages allowed others to create other apps to create plug ins, allowimg special features. The new version, in my opinion is superior as a stand alone app, and has greater compatibility with .docx... but the trade off is that developers lost the abiliyy to crate plug ins. For Logos purposes, it is worse
I could not find a way to make it work—Another reason I don't do Pages.
I'm not sure whether I'll switch back to Word for just this, though I may. What were other reasons you don't do Pages, Jack?

I'm reviving this old thread because I have the same issue. I switched from MS Word to Pages. When copying from Logos into Word, using "Copy Bible Verses," "Lord" in small caps (as in Isaiah 7:17) will paste the same. However, attempting to paste the same verse into Pages changes the small caps of "ord" to lower case. Is there a solution to this? Manually

The new mobile app on my iPad is a great step forward, and I particularly like having tabs. I do, howver, find the vertical bar separating the panels in split screen view annoying when View Settings is set to low light. The thick bar is simply too bright and distracting to my eyes when the room is fairly dark at night. A darker bar, such as dark gray

Well--I'm in--just ordered the language bundle, though it may be a year or so before I touch the Hebrew course.
Thanks John, I did not mean to sound disgruntled, just a little disappointed. However, you did a kind job of explaining things. A point of clarification, though. Are you saying that the current discounts, including the Back-to-School discount will remain valid until the whole package has shipped? For instance, The Biblical

Thanks, Mike. That sounds like a good idea.
The 12.9 is great but in my opinion impractical for reading in bed reclined. It's awesome for split screen reading while taking notes via an attached keyboard. But as a pure reader the 10.5 or 9.7 edges it out imho.
You're probably right about reading in bed, but the 10.5 or 9.7 are quite large enough for PDFs
I use the even larger iPad Pro (12.9") and I really enjoy the extra screen real estate for reading and not taking. It's especially helpful when splitting the screen, which I use to take notes as I read since taking notes within the mobile Logos app isn't a pleasant experience. If you don't mind carrying a larger iPad, I think

Why would you prefer the 9.7 Pro, Alabama?
I believe in the right tool for the right job. My 2¢: When I am simply reading (not taking notes), the size and screen of a Kindle Paperwhite is ideal. It is much better than an iPad for that task.
I recently purchased the iPad Pro 10.5 . I have no regrets. I used to have the iPad Air one. The ability to use multiple apps at the same time is awesome. I also got the 256 GB version. Which is probably more memory than I need. I could've used half that. My iPad Air also had 64 GB and that was plenty of room. But I also

I'm upgrading from my iPad Air and am trying to decide whether to spend the funds for the new iPad Pro 10.5 (256GB) or save a couple hundred dollars and buy the 2016 Pro 9.7 (128GB). (Both iPads are the middle offerings in their respective iterations, but the storage is a bit of a non-factor to me. 128GB should be quite sufficient, but the 10.5 begins

I subscribe to Logos Now and thought seriously about buying the FFS and letting Now expire. However, with the recent $50 coupon, I bought a 2nd-year subscription to Now. Frankly, I keep going back and forth over Now and FFS. For me, though, it's one or the other, not both.
