I can duplicate what you just did, but I'm not going to remember that or create my own for a different search. I'm going to have to start going through those tutorials again. SIGH! Thanks again. I appreciate your taking the time here to help me.

  • corresponding notes

I am working in the apocrypha. I have Swete's LXX open and the NRSV. I can highlight text across both Bibles. If I put a note in the RSV, it shows up in the LXX. If I put a note in the LXX, it doesn't show up in the NRSV. I suppose I could just put the notes in the NRSV and be done with it. I would like to know what's going on here.

Thank you. I did my search the old fashioned way. Every verse I had, I looked up the cross references for that verse, and I think I got them all. I used to work through all the training videos and then I got away from that. I don't know why. There was a search way that didn't require remembering formulas. Right now I am working on some stuff. I will

Thank you. I am trying to find out if I am missing anything by using Verbum over Logos.

  • phrase search

I want to find all the places in the Bible, primarily the OT, where the phrase "I will be their God" or your God. I thought it would be easy to figure out. I remember seeing similar searches done but don't remember how it happened. What do I do?

I kept finding that there were sales I was missing that apparently I would be notified about in Verbum. On the homepage. There was also something, I don't remember exactly, like a collection or search function that showed in I think the passage guide that Catholics would appreciate more than Protestants. I got my masters at Loyola, so I have a soft

That's no loss. Help cards? They pop up now and then. I'm not sure I ever used them. Thank you for taking the time to respond. I appreciate it.

  • Logos vs Verbum

I've been using Verbum, because it seems the program does more than Logos. Is there anything I am losing, because I use that instead of Logos.

  • Re: exegetical guide

OK, that's working. Thank you very much. I appreciate that. Now is there any way to shut off the interlinear. I was surprised that I was able to do that with an interlinear apostolic fathers. I don't see that option here. I guess my question is: is there another LXX which would work with the exegetical guide and allow me to shut off the interlinear

  • Re: exegetical guide

I use Swete's LXX, which I guess has an interlinear, because I can highlight across Bibles. I just ordered the Lexham edition. It's downloading now. I'll let you know what happens.

  • exegetical guide

I want to run an exegetical guide on a lxx passage. It won't let me. I want to do the word by word thing. It shows me the Hebrew and Greek texts side by side. I click on the Greek word, and it runs a search for the corresponding Hebrew word. What am I missing here?

  • Re: Logos 9 Wishlist

I have been a Logos user for about 13 years. I have spent hours and hours trying to make it more usable. For example, I had a passage guide with a hundred titles Gospel of John.or something like that. I added author names and series titles so I can see at a glance what I'm looking at. I have thousands and thousands of monographs. I added author names

I've mentioned this somewhere already. Not sure if in this thread. Again, something that should have been fixed in Logos 3 or 4. I have exegetical guide open. I'm doing the word for word, and I am looking for a Greek lexicon for the patristic era. I know I have at least one. I have 32 Greek resources listed here, all by initials. When I hover over them

  • Re: Logos 9 Wishlist

thank you very much. This could work. Usually I think if a resource gets a high score, it will keep it whatever I use it for, so I don't need to erase them. I need to decide my system. 1 star is I looked at, 2 maybe not worthy, 5 go back to often. Not sure if I need 3 and 4 Thanks again. This is very helpful
