  • Re: how to use commentaries - the non-Bible ones

either I am missing something here or my post was confusing to begin with. all the books that I have that discuss Bible passages that are not commentaries, I have tagged by the books of the Bible they discuss. So if I'm studying Matthew, I add my collection of Matthew to the passage guide. But I have a hundred books labeled commentaries, and a lot of

Hi MJ So are you saying that I need to identify the books first, then open them and link them while reading something rather than being able to click on something and Logos will find something for me? thank you

  • how to use commentaries - the non-Bible ones

I have 120 books typed as commentary. Maybe 20 on extra biblical books like the apostolic fathers, pseudepigrapha. I'm trying to figure out how I can use them. I tired putting them into a collection, then a guide, but then it asks for a Bible reference. If I'm in a text and click on the selection menu, I find no way to access them. If I use cited by

If I am studying, say, Genesis, and want to locate a place, the atlas takes me right there. Fine. But what I think is really relevant and helpful would be to see where this place sits compared to other common familiar places. If I choose a map from a later Biblical time, that first place may not show up or show up easily. I need an option where after

  • Re: hebrew font

Hi Rosie I often paste Scripture passages from Logos to Word. I used to get a font that looked majestic for Hebrew. Now it's like scrawl. I changed no settings. I think you may have told me before about how to find discussions. It's just that when I don't get notifications like I used to, I get busy on stuff and then I don't check them. How often should

I see this rating feature, but I don't see it when I have the passage guide open, so how will this help me?

  • hebrew font

I do a lot of copying and pasting of Bible texts. I used to have a real nice Hebrew font when I printed Bible verses. Now I'm getting something that looks like somebody wrote them by hand rather than having a genuine print font. What happened and what can I do? Thank you I don't get notifications anymore when anyone responds to these posts, so if I

I see that that Wuppertaler Studienbibel is available. Is it really that good? I tried to find more information about it. Can you make a sale pitch to me for that? Thank you

  • Logos libraries

I love looking at the various packages and libraries that Logos offers. The gold, silver, bronze stuff. I'm wondering. Logos keeps adding books all the time. Do they every modify the libraries? Add books to them? Create new libraries? thank you I don't get notifications in my emails, so I don't always remember to keep checking for responses. lacraig1

  • Re: suggestion - need another way of tagging books

Hi Dave I don't get notifications if anyone replies to my posts, and sometimes I don't keep checking after a while. Your answer looks good, but where do I have these ratings? I can add it to my library, but I don't see how that will help me. I need to see the ratings when I have a passage guide open. Thank you

  • suggestion - need another way of tagging books

I'm doing a long term research project on various passages in the Bible. So I'm using the passage guide for the same passages a lot. I have hundreds of commentaries and other resources. I need some way of marking the resources in my guide, like a check to say, OK, I used that and don't need to go back, or some way to say, go back here again, or maybe

thank you, Graham, but something doesn't seem to be working. I did search, media, type:atlases. I pick an atlas, and no results. I pick a different atlas, no results.

I don't see how to do a media search. The ways I thought I would be able to, I can't. I see a media option in search now, but I don't see how to get it to search atlases.

Hi Dave thanks for getting back to me. I don't notifications of people responding, so I didn't think to check back until now. Do I just select one and prioritize it, and Factbook will use it? Is there another way to, say, come across a place name and want to see just where it is, besides using factbook?

2 questions First, I like to see where places are that I read about. I go to Factbook, it offers some map options, but when I click on the maps, it doesn't show me where the place is. I often have to hunt for it and sometimes I just can't find it.. Is this a glitch or just me? I would think with all this tagging, I click on a map in Factbook, it would

  • Re: NAS 2020 and the Importance of Communicating with the Customer

Better communication requires either shifting staff from perhaps more important tasks or hiring staff which will increase their costs. Make the observations and then let them do what they do. NASB is hardly a resource that the Christian world has been waiting for with bated breath. From what I've read, I'll stick to NASB95.
