  • Re: ATTN Kyle: Is it a Monography Or Is it a Biblical Commentary; FL is missing a sales opportunity

I have found a lot of these. Especially from WS resources. One writer might have 20 similar books, some are commentaries, some are monographs. Other sets are clearly commentaries but marked monographs. Either Scroggie or WHGriffith-Thomas. I stopped mentioning things like this. I didn't feel like Logos listens to a lot of this.

so I recompiled all 1500 personal books. when doing so, I had the option of building the book and then reopening the file to upload it. I thought it would be faster to rebuild and start another rebuild while that's happening and then when it's all done, go through and do the same with the upload. No, I find that won't happen. The upload option isn't

I should also add that now that I know to upload all my personal books, I don't know which books have been uploaded or not. So when I go through them, I will inevitably upload something that has already been uploaded, because I didn't know that it was, and that wastes time. If a resource has been uploaded, let it say so in the information menu in the

I am not a computer whiz. I have used the same email address for as long as I can remember. I don't remember ever using a different one. And I have always used yahoo to access it. Logos says that reason I don't get notifications anymore is a problem on my end, which I am unable to figure out what it is. Contacting yahoo is pointless. wait I have an

Recently I reinstalled Logos to an SSD and discovered that I lost all my personal books. They still showed in my personal book tool, but they were not in my library, so they were unsearchable. Seems that they weren't uploaded after they were built. Now that I am recompiling my books, I see that the upload feature isn't even available until after the

I have used that email address for a very long time. And, yes, i use yahoo email. And, yes, it worked fine for the 10 plus years I have been with Logos. Now all of a sudden it's a problem? Oh, as for personal books, I am rebuilding them one at a time, all 1500 of them. The option to upload them doesn't even appear until after the file is built and then

I would think if the books are in the program, there must be some way to do more than one at a time. Why would anybody think that reinstalling on an SSD, all the files wouldn't remain intact?

    1. The files do not appear in my library. When I go to the tools menu, they all seem to be there. The C: drive is blank as to all Logos files. 2. The source files? I have copies of course in my Word files. 3. I back up my documents. Norton has a backup thing, but it's only for about 10GB.

maybe somebody from customer service can take over my computer and do this remotely. I'm afraid I'm going to screw things up. When I started trying a scan, it talked about cleaning my hard drive.

Logos is not telling me when people respond. I kept looking in the forums and the last post I saw was mine. I didn't understand most of what you said. No, I did not upload any files. Nothing different from anything else, unless those 21 files were files I updated since the reinstall. I update them often.

I tried to do that, and I got scared. It talked about scanning and cleaning my hard drive. Don't want that. Everything but Logos is on there.
