David, Perfect timing to ask the question, thanks! Same situation here...

I figured it was something like that seeing "64" but I don't get how "86" has to do with "32 bits"... Anyway. I downloaded the package for 64 bits. I get this message (my translation from French): "Only one copy of wusa.exe is allowed to be run." I uninstalled that file in my configuration panel but I still get the error message. I'm about to quit.

Brad, 1. Thanks for showing interest. 2. I spent time with a couple of Logos tech support guys who were very nice and we already tried that. One of them got into my computer from afar and told me the solution could only come through Microsoft. 3. That kind of repair has been tried. 4. I thought I'd try once more: "Download package now"... "English"

Does anybody think that I could gain something by uninstalling Logos and reinstalling it? Does anyone have any insight whatsoever? After Logos tech support and Microsoft, if I don't get an answer here, I won't get an answer period. No local tech guy has any clue about Logos... Thanks!
-
Thanks for loooking, Dave! You seems to understand something to those logs: I really don't!
-
4505.LogosError.log OK, here it goes!
-
OK, got the error logs. What do I do with it? I just post it here?! Please forgive my total lack of competency... I appreciate your time and expertise more than you can imagine.

No idea what "logs" are... Sorry! Windows 7. Logos 7. I discovered that I had a problem when I tried a search on the word "work" in December. Tried "friendship" and "marriage" this morning: no problem! Tried "work" again: crash! Strange, isn't it? My Logos 7 doesn't want to "work"!!! :-)
-
Logos crashes when I do a search in "Topic Guide". It works flawlessly otherwise. The tech support guys from Logos explained to me that I had to call Miscrosoft to solve the problem. Ephesians 4.29 prevents me from saying what I think about Microsoft's help... Did anyone else have this problem? Downloading the repair files from Microsoft didn't help

Ah! I removed the ( ) and everything worked fine! Thanks!

I mean that the reading plan looks fine but when I actually look at it closely, the Psalms and the Proverbs are not there..., just the NT.
-
I think the Logos reading plan is a very exciting and useful tool! But I struggle with it every year... My daughter wants to read the NT, Psalms and Proverbs twice in 2016. I can't seem to get it to work. I did a reading plan from January 1st to June 30th using "(Mt-Re | Ps | Pr)" but only the NT shows up. Any ideas why? (I was going to do the same

Alabama, I finally found what I'm looking for by finding "Solid Color" at the bottom of the list in "Documents" - "Notes"! Thanks! Dave, there's not such thing as "Annotations" in my book's menu. The basic search didn't work either. Thanks for taking the time to write... My conclusion is that : -This aspect of L6 is not user-friendly. -Nothing is ever

So I have opened the Highlight Note. In "Quote" view, I have bunch of quotes from different books, but not the one I'm working on. Is there a delay between the time I highlight until the time it shows up in the note? I wouldn't think so...
-
You suggest I open a new note document? I'm not sure I follow you. And I don't know how to move my question to a different area of the Forum... Thanks!
-
It's all in the question... Confident that highlights are easy to access in L6, I started reading a book, highlighting the parts I needed to summarize it. I would like to access only the highlighted parts of my text but can't figure out how. The search option on the Forum brings me to all the highlight bugs... On the Wiki, I get directed to L5 functions

Francis, you're right. I was in too much of a surprise to go check the most logical source of information: Genesis! Thanks. MJ, you're a genious! It's because of my French accent! I can't believe that I came up with one result with the way I spelled "judgement"! Problems solved. Thank you both!

My daughter's reading her Bible through and asked me a question about the two different family trees for Benjamin in 1 Chron.7.6-12 and 1 Chron.8.1-7. Wanting to prove her that she can come to me with any question about the Bible, I used Logos 6 to bring up Benjamin's family tree. Oups! It shows 14 sons instead of the three presented in 1 Chron.7 (and

I know I'm behind schedule, but can someone help me create a reading plan that alternates OT and NT books? That is I don't want to read OT and NT every day but read a whole book or two in the OT and, then, a book of the NT. Is there a way to do that with the Logos tool? Thanks!

Somehow, I was able to modify the plan that was on my homepage and save it. So I'm good for a year... Not sure what happened.
