  • Re: Problems with broadcasting

Very interesting...that was it. So it looks like I have two options. The first is to set my phone to only use GPS, not Wi-Fi for getting my location. The other option would be to set the location of the presentation to be at the location shown by the network. Neither are perfect, but I guess we could get by one way or the other. Do you know what the

I did just realize something that might make a difference... when I'm connected to the school's internet, it looks like my location is set about 3 miles down the street. I'm guessing this is where the ISP is. Would my location being off by a few miles prevent me from connecting to the presentation?

Going off of the wireless on my phone didn't help at all. I also tried putting both the presenting computer as well as my phone on a wireless network that is basically the same network as the schools, but before it gets internalized (no firewalls or filtering) and it didn't work there either. Now I'm really confused!

  • Problems with broadcasting

My church has just started testing out Proclaim. When we tested everything at my house, it worked beautifully. I was able to pull up the Logos app on my Android phone and receive signals that were pushed as we went through the presentation. However, when we tested it out at church (we meet in the auditorium of a local school), we cannot get the broadcasting

  • Re: WORDsearch with Logos

Well thanks for all the input guys! My class is only an 8 week class, not 16, so starting early wouldn't make me miss out on too much info, especially since the majority of the online classes is reading. With 8 weeks until I have to preach, I might as well wait to hear back from the school. From what I can tell, Logos is better, but the WS package wouldn

  • Re: WORDsearch with Logos

I am attending Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. The only reason I am so rushed to get this done is because the assignment that would be due at the end of the class (preaching and recording a sermon) will have to be done by week 3 since I already have a preaching date scheduled. I have about 8 weeks until I preach, so I would like to get the resources

  • Re: Looking for personal Bible Study ideas

Thanks for the pointers guys. I'm not sure if I still have access to the scripture lists from my past classes, but I at least have an idea of where to start. I'm feeling a little less lost right now :)

  • Re: WORDsearch with Logos

I have tried contacting the school as a whole, but I haven't got a reply yet. I won't know who the instructor is until a few days before the class starts and I would prefer to not wait that long. Seeing as the class is an intro to homiletics class, I highly doubt 90% of the books included will be used. I think my best bet might be finding a few that

  • WORDsearch with Logos

For a class that I will be taking in a few months, I am required to purchase the WORDsearch Preaching Library. Seeing as I already have Logos, this is a little upsetting to have to go a step down (from what I hear), and possibly have duplicates of material. Does anyone have experience with both the Preaching Library and Logos that would be able to tell

  • Looking for personal Bible Study ideas

I currently have the Logos 4 Leaders Library package. I have used it many times for seminary homework assignments, and it has been a tremendous help. Right now I am taking a 2 month break between semesters and I am trying to do some personal Bible study in the free time I have. Does anyone have any pointers on a good way to study the Bible? I know with

Thanks. That page was exactly what I was looking for, unfortunately the answer was not what I was hoping for. At least I know what to look for now. I appreciate the link!

  • Scholarly commentaries in the Leader's Library

I have recently purchased the Leader's Library since that was all I could afford. A Master's paper I have to write requires me to use commentaries that are more "scholarly" and less "devotional". In other words, I need commentaries that actually get into the Greek and Hebrew (it is for a Greek class) and are meant more for teachers and pastors than
