FWIW - I'm seeing this bug too. After I select "rename", the item is selected and text is blank. As soon as I start typing a new name, the focus moves to match another favorite which has a name matching the first letter I type--and the item I'm trying to rename reverts to its previous name.

I've encountered this problem again on macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 using Logos 7.12.0.027 After restarting, the problem fixed itself and I was able to rename favorites folders again. Sorry I didn't think to try and run the logging utility while the problem was in-progress. I'll try to remember to try and capture a log next time.
In the "tab" panel (the one where you can see all your tabs), you'll see there's a split view icon at the top of each tab. Just tap that, and you can add a second resource to that tab. It's also worth noting the presence of the "link" icon at the bottom left of this screen, where you can link resources so they scroll together

After having removed the second resource in a split tab as described (thanks), I’m now having trouble figuring out how to split a single tab again the way it was before. Can’t seem to see how to accomplish the old split view again (within one tab). Also: it it possible to ever have two splits within a single tab?

I saw that an update had downloaded and was pending installation by restarting. So I did that, upgrading to "Logos Bible Software 6.11 SR-2 6.11.0.0041" After that, I was able to rename by right-clicking and selecting the appropriate menu entry. Not sure if it was fixed by restarting or by the upgrade--but it seems to be working for the moment.

I'm encountering this problem too, using "Logos Bible Software 6.11 SR-1 6.11.0.0034" Right-click and selecting "rename" causes the existing name to disappear, but typing leaves the name blank. After pressing , the "New Folder" name is retained unchanged. So far, I haven't been able to get it to work trying double or triple-clicking either.
I should ask though... You said 10.11.3. I am not on my Mac at present. Are you on beta?
No, I'm not using any beta, its an officially released update for general use.

OK - I seem to have solved the problem for my case . . . I searched around and found the page describing how to completely uninstall Logos 6 from OS X https://wiki.logos.com/OS_X_Troubleshooting#Uninstalling_Logos_for_Mac After following those instructions and deleting everything, I rebooted and reinstalled. It seems to be working OK now -- guiding

Thanks Dave, I searched around and found the page describing how to completely uninstall Logos 6 from OS X https://wiki.logos.com/OS_X_Troubleshooting#Uninstalling_Logos_for_Mac After following those instructions and deleting everything, I rebooted and reinstalled. It seems to be working OK now -- guiding me through a new install and pulling everything

FWIW, I recently upgraded to OS X 10.11.3 and found that Logos no longer would run. It displays "Logos" on the menu bar, but the bar is otherwise empty and no window ever appears. After running for some number of minutes (something like 5-10) and consuming almost no CPU cycles, it silently exits. I've downloaded and reinstall the latest Logos 6 core

I'm presently running El Capitan 10.11.3 and, as of picking up that OS X update, I've the same symptoms. Download the latest Logos 6 Install Launch - I get "Logos" on the menubar and the activity monitor shows it running for a while (using almost no CPU). Then, after several minutes it exits on its own accord. Reboot and running it fresh from start

FWIW - I found this thread due to a recent situation I'm seeing (as of this morning at church) where, if I have no internet connection then the latest Logos under the latest iOS (on iPad Pro) is non-functional. I can choose downloaded books from my library--but they no longer display. Attempts to navigate from a previously opened bible (while connected

That worked for me too - thanks for the tip!

Hey, it appears I "spoke" too soon. With BibTex style of citation the page number is now included. (Thought I'd tried that before, but guess I needed to restart the program after changing the default citation style.) I had been using Turabian before (which didn't always show the page). With APA the page is also shown. Guess I just happened to be using

+1 I also would like this feature. As it stands now, I have to click on the hyperlink associated with each clipping to open the resource in the original location, then enable 'page number' in the resource so I can visually see that page the citation is from. This is pretty cumbersome. I've noticed that when using certain citation styles (e.g., Chicago

As a work-around of sorts, here's what I'm doing. 1. Use the highlighting feature in Logos on the iPad to mark text that you'd like to clip. 2. Open Logos on your desk and bring up both the highlights and the clipping tool. 3. Click on each highlighted text to open the resource at the text of interest. 4. Select the highlighted text and drag it to the

I'm much more interested in being able to MAKE clippings from the iPad since it is often the platform of choice for extended reading away from a computer. Capturing important quotes for future reference is my main interest--even if I couldn't review them from the iPad subsequently. My usage pattern would be: Read a text on the iPad Save interesting

When I've used clippings and then exported them, the information includes the location of each clipping as a page number. When using highlights, I've noticed that I'm getting section numbers--even though the resource has page numbering. Is there a way to specify, when highlighting, that the location information for the highlighted text should use page

I was also surprised, not too long ago, to find out I was unable to save a bookmark (favorite) because I happened to be offline. Not sure if that is still the case -- but suspect so based on the lengthy delay I see between adding a bookmark and seeing it show up in the bookmark list when I happen to be connected. It would be most helpful to be able
