Only a few more hours left on this one. It doesn't seem likely we will make it to $2, but $3 is still a great price.
Yes, that's the idea. When we started the project we even considered calling it Practicum 2!
Thanks! I kind of like the new title. Practicum 2 for Verbum 6 could have gotten confusing.

The new Media Browser tool is very useful but am I correct in thinking that it only browses the central Logos collection of resources, not media elements of our own libraries?
That is correct. Use the Media Search tool for those. (There is some overlap as the Media Search will pull in at least
https://verbum.com/products/51655/verbum-advanced-search-training
Just an FYI for the kind Verbum team. I noticed on the "Advanced Search Training" page, in the "Looking for more..." box, it links back to the Advanced Search Training page when I am guessing it ought to link to the Advanced Academic Training page. I am very

Does this basically take the place of the Verbum Practicum, then?
Is there any chance of moving the scale and opening up a $2 option?
Ask and you shall receive. Thanks!

https://www.logos.com/product/45399/the-didascalia-apostolorum It closes on Friday and is down to $3, which is the lowest price point on the chart at the moment. Is there any chance of moving the scale and opening up a $2 option?
Some tools you pay for in crossgrades, but many are completely free. One such feature is the personal book builder tool, and now personal book sync. I think "send to kindle" is also free. "Logos Now" is a multi-facited subscription service. ONE of those benefits is new features now. Another is access to new visual copy templates

This is a somewhat related, but somewhat unrelated question. The version of the Vatican II documents that I have in my library does not specifically give the translator. Do you know if it is the Flannery translation, the Abbot translation, or something else? I'm curious how different the translation would be to the item from Liturgical Press linked

The way I am understanding this, it seems like Logos Now basically offers Logos users a chance to test drive features and datasets from forthcoming editions of Logos (Logos 7 and beyond) without having to wait for the next release. I can see the value of doing that, if there is some new feature that looks particularly useful. There is mention of discounts

I've been following the advice from user Royce Odiyar in this thread: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/36693/602147.aspx It involves using Microsoft's OneDrive, which I already use. But I think this mainly works with pdfs that are not scanned in pdfs. For that, I have used Microsoft's OneNote. You can "print" a pdf to a sheet in OneNote, right click

Seconded!

From the title, I thought this thread was going to be advocating that Faithlife charge a fee for people to vote in the March Madness promo.

I would imagine that part of the reason Faithlife shares certain codes in certain venues is to encourage and reward people for following them in those particular venues. Thus, posting the code here would seem to run counter to that goal. That said, I see no problem with a post letting people know that there is a coupon code on Facebook, Twitter, etc

Now that I'm thinking of homilies, I think a potentially great resource would be what Dr. Hahn does for his St. Paul Center. They post reflections on the Sunday Mass readings on their website ( http://www.salvationhistory.com/homily_helps ). Though the website only goes back a few years, they have been doing this in print for the last 12 years or so
Yes. This is mostly a tease at this point, as we're just starting on applying this tagging. So far, we've just applied it to the Paulist Press Homilies Bundle and Daily Biblical Sermons .
Ah. Yes, I don't have either of those resources. I'm excited that you guys are working on this, though. It seems to me like

That's a neat trick. Unfortunately, I got zero results in my library. I guess I need more homily books! I am filing this tip away for future reference, though. :)

Yes, it is fixed now. Thanks! That was pretty quick!
