• Re: Is it really the Encyclopedia Britannica as we might of thought?
The silence from Faith life regarding this issue is starting to get frustrating. Somebody please tell us something. Bob are you out there? What happened? and what if, anything are you planning on doing about this? Tell us something. The silence comes across as implying that you don't care, which I believe is not the case
The Jerome Biblical Commentary was available in the L2 days, which is how I got it (I found an old L2 library about 2 years ago on ebay). I don't think it was ever available in L3 or later releases. It must be a licensing issue.
This may be off-topic, but how does that work buying a used version of a previous iteration

  • Re: Compendium to the Catechism

I'd love to see this as well. I'd also like to see the US Catholic Catechism for Adults. Both have loads of cross references to the Catechism and would work great in Verbum.

I wasn't familiar with those titles before, but they definitely look great!
Boy, did I ever mess up on this one. I pre-ordered on April 16 this year - Chesterton is an awesome author and provides great contemporary insight .... Then I lost track of the whole promotion. I cancelled my pre-order a couple of weeks ago trying to manage the budget of course. Now I have nothing and get nothing ... a true lose
Thanks John, how did you find this? When I clicked the free book of the month, it showed the two books from catholic answers in the 101 quick questions & answers series.
It looks like it's current now. Every month, the Verbum deals don't seem to switch over until the Faithlife work day has started. So they are usually

I had the same question when I got Verbum 6. I was pleasantly surprised to discover I already had it and didn't even have to buy it.

I'm looking forward to this one. I never felt underinformed about the product. Numbers of articles and various media are enough for me to get the sense of the scope. Thanks for doing this. I'm grateful to have a set of encyclopedias that don't take up an entire bookcase. My daughter can peruse it without me worrying about her stumbling across bad stuff

And it has exactly the same number of volumes as Peter Kreeft. It looks like I have many of these already, so I'll have to see if it's worth it for m to pick up.

  • Catholic Answers Collection: Dynamic Sale Price?

I feel like I probably asked a similar question before, but here goes anyway. For the Catholic Answers collection , I picked up the freebie and the "plus one", yet the "dynamic price" is still the same as the sale price: $99.99. Is that as it should be, or should the two volumes I own knock off some of the sale price?

When I first heard the pitch for Logos at a conference, the Logos rep mentioned this and it was a major selling point for me. Thinking of spending this much money on a software program was not attractive. Thinking of spending this much money on a digital library that I can pass on to my children is far more attractive.

Did the MJB 1.0 have a lot more volumes than advertised? The first one said it had 1280+ volumes. MJB 2.1 says it has 290 additional volumes for a total of 1950+.
