• Deleting an uploaded PBB book

I was messing around with the Personal Books tool and discovered the new upload option. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble converting the book (it was a DRM-free ePub I turned into a Word Doc to create a PBB with) - Logos is stripping all of the images and the Table of Contents is a wreck. I just want to delete the file, but apparently since it's uploaded

  • Re: OSX Mavericks - Logos 5

So glad to see the force close issue resolved in Mavericks. I was using the pre-release version from the Developers' program and being unable to quit Logos cleanly was really a pain. :) Even updates were difficult to push through since they usually run after shutting down cleanly.
Believe this is a known issue with 10.9.
Cool. Not surprising. I can't expect everything to work perfectly on Developer's Preview. I just wanted to make sure if it was an issue with 10.9 that it was in fact a known issue .

  • Re: 5.1 SR-1 Mac Refused to Quit

I'm having the same issue with Logos 5.0 SR-1 (although I had the same issue prior to upgrading to SR-1, and it made the upgrade difficult). When I quit it never actually closes and I eventually have to Force Quit Logos 5. I am running Logos 5 on the Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks Developers Preview 3. I thought perhaps it was an issue with Mavericks, but

  • Logos 4 Mac black input fields?

One of my pastors just upgraded to Logos 4 about a month before the release of 5. Everything seemed to be working, but now he says the input (search and reference boxes) are turning black and are not receiving input. Is this something anybody has experienced before or should we just call up Logos support for help? Thanks! Daniel

  • Re: Touch support for Windows tablets

No, although I can check and see. It's basically Acer's version of the Surface Pro, so I don't think so. Apparently Windows Vista and 7 had a feature called Touch Pointer that may have helped, but it seems to have been removed in Windows 8.

  • Touch support for Windows tablets

I don't know if it is a new update, but I did notice the other day when I got a touch screen Windows 8 tablet that Logos 5 seems to work great with touch control for scrolling, etc. I was wondering though, does anybody know of a way to get "pop up" to work for footnotes and cross-references with touch control and not using an external mouse? I love

  • Support for cross references and links?

Logos: Thank for adding ARM support so quickly! The other feature I'm waiting for is the ability to click on links for cross-references and notes. Even if it didn't do the cool hover effect as in the desktop, it would make the app quite a bit more useful. Is that on the agenda for a release soon? Thanks again! It is great getting access to even the

Glad to hear it. I can't wait to get my Surface - a device that will be much more exciting when Logos is available on Windows RT. :)

Question for Logos: I noticed in the Windows App Store that the supported processors are only x86 and x64 for the Logos Bible App. Is there a plan to support ARM Processors like that in the Surface in the near future? I expect to see great updates in the near future but it would be a shame if I was unable to run the app on a tablet like the Microsoft
Multi-select for hiding resources from the Library panel
Can anyone tell me how this works? I got a little over zealous with the Perseus library and would love an efficient way to hide some of the foreign language stuff that I don't need. I can multi-select, but it still only pulls one when I go to drag it to Hidden

  • Re: Logos 4 crash on startup

Thank you for looking into this. I didn't notice that error... thanks for being more diligent than me. :) I just looked at the main error on top and had no luck finding results based on that... Anyway, that sounds probable. It is an old laptop. I haven't heard of there being other issues but I bet that's exactly it. Do you get paid for this? I really

  • Logos 4 crash on startup

One of the pastors I support is experiencing a crash on startup. I've tried looking up the error on Google and in the forums and couldn't find a match, either by error ID or the error message I'm receiving. Error ID: 2711 Error detail: TypeInitializationException: The type initializer for 'Libronix.DigitalLibrary.Documents.Code.CodeDocument' threw an

Thank you Dave. Of course I didn't pay enough attention and found the thread on problems downloading after you said to go look - I redownloaded and let it sit both on the sign-in screen and on the Library window and it let me download the ESV.

  • Re: Logos/Vyrso for Android 0.9.4 Released

That's weird... for some reason it isn't giving me the option to download ESV on my Fire, like I can on my iPhone. I tried another resource and it worked. I guess I've just always been trying ESV. Now I feel dumb! The question though is why can I download it on iOS but not Android?
If you look at the Minimal Crossgrade package that Logos offers version 3 owners to get Logos 4 functionality without buying a V4 base package, you'll notice that the Christian Home library is missing all of those resources/features. And Logos advertises the Minimal Crossgrade as including "only the engine, plus a few essential

  • Re: Personal Book Builder - 2 computers - copy in?

I used Dropbox to sync my book from my main laptop to my netbook - since they both run Windows 7, my Dropbox folder is in the same location so all I had to do was click "Build Book" on the second machine. It is easier than e-mailing the DOCX file, or using a flash drive to transfer the file.

  • Re: Logos 4 wins award

Definitely deserved. There are a lot of Christian things that are good for a Christian variety (like there are some good Christian movies), but Libronix and Logos 4 are just impressive software in general.
