I realize this may not be the right category to post this, but since the Library Filter Sidebar has been posted above, I has a question about that Library Filter Side Bar. In Logos 7 if allowed me to select a Collection from the top of the Library Tab, and now it is in the Filter Side Bar. My issue is previously that Collection list was sorted alphabetically

  • Re: Is it still possible to Sync your L3/Libronix license?

How about this reason for still using Libronix: Logos abandoned several features like user created timelines, and several videos that some of us have in Libronix that is abaolutely NOT available in any of the newer versions including Logos 7! I personally still use both Libronix for my abandoned resources and Logos 7 for the newer stuff that was created

Dear abondservant: I stand by what I said, while you are also correct about your facts. However, The Logos Software Engine is what is obsolete, and I already pointed out our old resources still worked, but if we want any of the new resources, our Logos Software Engine is what is obsolete. That qualifies under the definition of obsolete. Plus they usually

Unix: Today I see the notice that Logos 6 was just released, and as a result the Logos.com website is not working correctly, presumably because of the flood of customers checking out the new product. Every time I go to Logos.com home page, it keeps timing out then asks if I want to save the webpages on my hard drive, but will not display in my browser

Dear Unix: Glad to hear you finally had success. Just sorry I was not able to help you at the earlier stages of our discussion. I just hope that I was helpful, however, if you kept in touch with Logos Customer Service, you would have eventually gotten it all straightened out without my help. Just hope my posts do help others that did not know you could

Dear Unix, you did not specify what you were trying to get them to do for you (Upload or Download your license). I don't know what person I talked to, but will recheck my email, but that was for a download of my latest purchases and logos freebies, not an upload of what was on my Computer. What I explained before is that I know they can give you a Libronix

P.S. those earlier posts of failure to Sync before the Libronix Server was discontinued, there were times when the Server would be down for maintenance. That would explain one person not able to sync, and another at a later time syncing fine. Even I ran into that in the past when their Server was down for maintenance or backing up their system, and

Folks I addressed this issue in the following post: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/74721/641507.aspx#641507 In that post I explaining that Logos discontinued the Libronix Server that synced the licenses, and provides the License Sync method work around via eMail attachments with Logos Customer Service that did work for me. Hope this info is helpful

Logos did confirm over the phone that the Libronix Server that was used in Logos 3 (Libronix) for Syncing Licenses is no longer available, however, there are some work arounds. You do not have any firewall or internet problems. The problem is not on your end of the internet, it is on Logos end where the problem is. They still have the ability to provide

I would agree with other posts first confirming that your licenses under the same Logos Account User ID and they were synced with the Libronix Server, at least before they discontinued that Libronix Server so you can no longer Sync via that internet connect. Recently that Libronix Server is not longer available to update your Libronix library, but there

Dear Denise, what you wrote sounds familure to me as well on a different point. I love the way my logos 4 will still open to the main display page at least within a couple of minutes of launching on my slower 32-bit Windows XP laptop, however, my 8GB RAM 64-Bit Windows 7 Professional Logos 5 waits sometimes between 5 minutes to 15 minutes before finally

Dear brother Unix, not really sure how to answer your question. The specific details about your situation are not very clear to me from what you said. I do not know what LSJ and BDF are without looking those up, but that is not important to address your question. Don't know if your problem with the LSJ and BDF was your issue about the Libronix server

Dear Martin Grainger Dean Thank you for what should have been obvious to others and expressing the core of my concern so briefly and exactly. It is unfair practice, under the phase out circumstances, to not provide version requirements on all their resource product listings, so the buyers are fully informed and fully aware. And I can also understand

Dear brother Unix, I also have encountered the Libronix server being ended this past week as I tried to add the latest freebies and other books I purchased to my Logos 3 licenses. At least for the moment, a call to Customer Service and they can email us the Libronix License Update for our account at for that date in time. That is what happened this

Dear Unix, thank you for your perspective as a fellow poor person. I can sure sympathize with your economic hardship and some concerns about Logos at this time. Myself, my collection has grown since the early years with numberous Logos 2.0, 2.1, and Logos 3 applications, then later Logos 4 Silver, and now Logos Gold with many individual books I have

Boy you guys keep missing the point. I do not see me or others asking Logos to continue to provide support for prior Logos Software Engines. However, there is no good reason that Logos can not provide their resource books in multiple formats. Those using the earlier engines know Logos has moved on to newer advancements and newer technologies, but the

Thank you for the correction on the scripture quote, as you are indeed correct. I knew that, but wrote it too quickly off the top of my head without looking it up or remembering the exact wording. I am getting old and my mind is not what it used to be. As to the dictating what technology to use, that is a response to the first reply to my message where

Don Awalt, thank you for your comment, however, you seem to miss my point while trying to justify the unfair Logos practices and their omission of proper product facts stating which Logos versions each resource works on, with your understandable, but misguided question. Microsoft Windows XP has all the kinks out. The only additional support updates

  • Re: NA28 Nestle-Aland Critical Apparatus

Should that be the case, generic notices on blogs and forums is inadequate. If as you say some newer resources will work on Older Versions and others will not, then Logos has an obligation to specify on each product listing which versions it is not compatible with, rather than just allow trial and error to discover after your purchased, instead of before
