Never mind. I discovered Word Lists. Now if only I could make it show one card at a time.

  • Flashcards

Has anyone suggested the addition of a "flashcard" document type? I'm studying languages and would love to use that for vocabulary. I know there are 3rd party options, but my cards are going to have Greek and Hebrew and it would be great to copy and paste into them. These could behave similarly to the two-sided Clippings.

  • Re: The greatest obstacle to SECURITY is the inability to copy and paste a password

Rather than summarizing my professional experience related to this topic, I'd like to offer up a different angle, even though it's one I'm less qualified to speak about. The Bible talks about a great tribulation during which we can expect Christianity to come under direct attack (your interpretation may vary). If something like that were to happen here

Am I missing something or isn't it as simple as selecting "Collections" from this screen to get it added?

  • Re: Multi-Task View for Windows Logos users

Thanks everyone. Verbum is working well. Ideally I wouldn't have to installed my gigs of data twice, but having two layouts open at a time is a huge improvement for me. Thanks again! -Zak

Friends, I'm studying Greek and would love to get this working. I downloaded the spreadsheet and I've created the visual filter, but I cannot get the expected results in the Bible. Could someone help? Here's a screen shot with what I'm doing. https://www.dropbox.com/s/uvtfv0gey5nvizd/Screenshot%202016-02-23%2008.34.07.png?dl=0 Sorry I can't figure out

Here's another vote for long, complex passwords. If you don't see the need for advanced security, you are outside your area of expertise.

  • Re: Multiple windows

I keep encountering instances where I have a layout open for a particular class, but want to research or read something entirely different without saving and closing my layout, or open another layout at the same time. I understand some have concerns about CPU/memory usage, I'm not convinced it would double the requirements to open a second window. The

  • Collections

I thought this would be a hot topic but I didn't find it searching. I would love to access my Logos collections inside the Vyrso reading app so I have a way of organizing what I'm reading, going to read, have completed. Or am I overlooking a capability? I use Vyrso on iOS devices.

  • How do I make my NA28 talk to me?

I see the icon for a speaker next to the NA28 in the Library. How do I make it read to me? Is this for individual words? I'm learning Greek pronunciation so this would be really useful to me.

  • Multiple windows

What if we were able to open multiple Logos windows? I don't mean floating windows, I mean complete frames with all the features and options we have now in the "parent" window. This would be like having multiple browser windows open, where each would have the library and search icons, the Documents/Guides/Tools dropdowns, etc. Each could have its own

It's the Greek interlinear that I lack. I'm interested in the Reader's Edition view as MJ shows.

I'm a new Greek student, and this setup looked really useful. Then I discovered that (even though I'm on Platinum with the large Greek bundle) I don't have NA27 (I know I'm whining). I suspect I'll need it for school, but is there any reason I might go with the cheaper Lexham interlinear, or is this a case where you get what you pay for, and you need

  • Re: AWS Cloud Server

Yes I'm anxious to show the TCO, because honestly I want to find out for myself if this is the right way to go. I could probably get away with using my work laptop for school (remotely; I'm not taking my work laptop TO the school), but since I'm going to Bible college, I thought I should probably do the right thing and have my own machine, whether that

  • Re: AWS Cloud Server

Keep in mind the server sizing is in the context of ultra high performance web server machines, not the context of "personal" computers. m3.large is probably way more power, and "moderate" I/O way more I/O than you need. I'm running the t2.medium and it's faster than my laptop which is a 2.5Ghz, 16GB, 64-bit machine. Remember that this is not an apples

Which part, alabama24? If you want to learn about the Amazon cloud, you can just browse on over to aws.amazon.com. I'm using EC2, so you would want to read up on that. Meanwhile this is the sort of thing I do for a living, so to me it's easy and obvious. I'd be happy to help out someone else who wants to try it. Imagine not being locked into a PC, being

  • Re: AWS Cloud Server

My motivation is to use as good but cheap a physical machine (Chromebook) as possible and so that if it breaks or is stolen, everything I need is safely stored in the cloud. That cheap machine doesn't run Windows, so I can't install Logos, except the Android version with its severe limitations. Hence, running Logos in the cloud or at home, and accessing
