You do not have open multiple guides. You can have multiple, different occurrences in the same guide. Click Add at the top right of the guide Select Translation Select desired bible in new Translation section
Thanks. I hadn't thought of doing it that way. Duh (facepalm).

  • Need the ability to compare Translation Rings from different Bible Versions for the same word

I was trying to compare the Translation Rings for the NRSV and CSB to compare how frequently each translated the word doulos (δοῦλος) as slave versus servant. I had two Bible Word Study guides open to the word doulos, but when I changed the translation from NRSV to CSB in one, it changed it in the other as well. So
It is interesting and helpful, but one COULD flip the Dynamic to Formal equivalence axis around so that the NLT is "Optimal", except the Global Bible Initiative's metric favors an atomistic scoring method , a conclusion that does not necessarily meet with universal approval. In other words, the CSB's conclusion that their
It would be interesting to compare the CSB and the NIV. I think they would be similar on the use of "natural" contemporary English, but I am sure the philosophical differences would show. NIV is more international in scope, whereas the CSB is good ole USA (IMO).
I'm reading through Romans in the CSB (along with its audio

  • Is the CSB your main/top Bible? If so, why do you like it?

Does anyone use the CSB as their main/top/preferred bible? Since it's a new translation I'm assuming you switched to it from another translation. What translation did you switch from, and what made you switch? What do you like about the CSB, what are the advantages or features it has over bibles like the NIV, ESV, NASB, and others? I know there are

I'd love to have more Zondervan items in my library but they never go on sale. Maybe they can put some hebrew/greek grammars and some reference works on sale for a change
I think there are Facebook users who habitually report content that they object to for their own personal reasons, and it adds to the AI profile of what sort of stuff is objectionable. Or perhaps it's bots trying (at their masters' bidding) to sow discord or break down Facebook as a useful platform. In any event, it is a problem

As a matter of fact, I vaguely remember them giving us $25 coupons a couple years ago for the 25th anniversary. When I look through my orders for 2017 I can see that I used it in February of that year. They incorporated in 1992 so 2017 was the 25th anniversary.

It's definitely the AI, but the humans that review the posts leave much to be desired as well. A friend of mine who sells her product online had one of her promoted posts blocked for "profanity," but there was nothing that could even be remotely considered profanity in the post. Facebook was not very helpful to her in letting her know why that post
