Thank you, JT and David. I appreciate knowing why I had the problem. The upload limit was way above what I needed and everything worked just fine.

  • Personal Books in Logos 7

A while back I bought a new laptop with an SSD drive and running Windows 10. I installed Logos and have enjoyed the speed of the new drive. However, just yesterday I tried to access a personal book in the new laptop but was informed that I did not have a license to view the book. I have opened Logos on the old laptop (painfully slow!) and have no difficulty

  • Copying Highlighted Text

Is there a way to retain highlights when copied Bible text is pasted into a document? I suspect that the method Logos uses to save highlights would preclude this.

  • Sentence Diagramming

Can someone please direct me to where I can get instruction on Sentence Diagramming. I have tried looking at Wiki but got virtually no help there. Evidently I'm looking in the wrong places. Thanks in anticipation of forthcoming help.

  • Re: Highlighting not working

Thanks, Graham. I had been away at a conference and had no internet connection. Now, I have just got the ew L7 version and couldn't get the highlighting to work. However, suddenly, after about 20 minutes, the highlighting suddenly appeared and is now working fine. Sorry for bothering you for no real reason! I was just frustrated for a while. Blessings

  • Highlighting not working

Since the update to 7.5.0.0031 I can no longer highlight text. Has anyone else had this problem? I am using a Win 10 laptop.

  • Word count discrepancies

In doing word counts in 1 Peter, using the KJV, I have found a couple of discrepancies—there may be more. In 1:18, the word πατροπαραδοτος (which only occurs here) is listed as occurring 6 times! Similarly, the word ευαγγλιζο

Thank you. I found Shibboleth just before getting your message. Now I'm happy again !

  • Re: Where has Shibboleth disappeared to?

Thanks, Dave. I downloaded the file and Shibboleth opened but there is no way, apparently, to save the downloaded file to disc. I could use it while it was open, but, having closed it, I would have to download it again to use it. It seems that it is not installed: I can't find it anywhere. Anyone else any suggestions?

  • Where has Shibboleth disappeared to?

For some years I have been using Shibboleth from time to time. Suddenly, it's not there any longer. I had problems with my PC (Windows 10) and after having it attended to, Shibboleth was one of several programs that had disappeared from my hard drive. Now, when I try to download it from Faithlife, I can't locate it. Any suggestions, anyone?

Thanks a lot, Andrew. That explanation is most helpful. Apologies for being so uninformed and for taking up people's time!

  • Re: YHWH in the King James Version

Thanks, Andrew. Problem solved. But why is it only in the KJV that this is necessary? The other versions show the block caps without the text formatting option selected!

  • Re: YHWH in the King James Version

Thanks Graham and Dave. That is what I expected but this is what I get: The same is true of Is. 52:4 (and everywhere else I have checked):

  • YHWH in the King James Version

I have discovered that in the Logos King James Version, YHWH is not written as LORD, as is usual, (e.g. in Is. 51:22, where both forms of Lord occur) yet the Authorized Version in Logos has LORD. The reverse interlinear of the KJV has it correct, but the AV does not have a reverse interlinear. Again, in Is. 52:4, where GOD is YHWH, it is written God

  • Historic Present in the Greek text

Does anyone know an easy way to find all places in the Greek text where the historic present is used (e.g. Mk. 3:13)?
