New Feature: Reader's Edition Interlinear (Feature)
What is it?
Reading ancient texts in their original languages can be both difficult and stressful, especially if you don't know all the vocabulary. That's why Greek and Hebrew Readers are popular tools for assisting students in their acquisition of a new language. Our new Reader's Edition Interlinear lets you customize any original-language interlinear text according to your needs. Hide words according to frequency, leaving only the words you haven't learned. Use the Reader's Edition Interlinear in your language study and adapt it to your ever-changing educational needs.
How does it work?
Within any of your ancient resources that have accompanying interlinears (e.g. The Lexham Greek-English Interlinear New Testament, The Lexham Greek-English Septuagint, The Lexham Hebrew-English Old Testament, The Apostolic Fathers Greek-English Interlinear), you can create a reader's edition by going to the inline interlinear button in the resource panel. Enable the Reader's Edition and hide words either by word list or by frequency.
One of the most helpful things about this feature is the ability to create word lists on the basis of the vocabulary you've learned. This lets you create an ever changing and adaptable reader that wis attuned to where you are in your language acquisition. This make transitioning to related literature like the Apostolic Fathers and the Septuagint a seamless experience.
