OED Online Edition and Logos
Would it be possible to port to the online addition of the OED via Logos and have all the capabilities of Logos functionalities enhance the broad services and comprehensive treatment of word definitions and etymologies as well as quotations available to subscribers? As I see it Libraries can subscribe to the OED what would prevent Logos from being a subscriber and offer access through their program? Is there any interest?

Just guessing, libraries are a special case; commercial software a different animal.
But suppoting subscriptions through Logos to OED might be a new revenue source for FL (and enhanced, as you describe).

I, too, would like to see a subscription through Logos for this kind of access. Mark Ward talks of the Oxford English Dictionary a lot and it sounds very interesting.

They had a COVID-19 disclaimer stating that subscriptions are delayed due to COVID-19. This is what I'm hoping for. Not being a techie, but I'm thinking with OED agreement FL would enhance the experience from within Logos. I'm up and running on OED as of today! First search was on the word "quant." Absent from the entries were surprisingly the definition I was after. Its use in the topic Finance. I had to run an Advanced Search and specify this topic. The answer was listed as colloquial and was found listed under heading 2. Embellished under this definition were found quotations from various sources. O the sheer joy of discovery. My search for its etymology was dissatisfying, but illuminating. I was searching for the first time the word was used in this manner. Perhaps someone can advise on how to go about this from within OED. I know you may be thinking this has nothing to do with Logos. But, you can think of this as a test case. I've only just begun.

I wouldn't pretend to any expertise in using the OED, but I do enjoy exploring words! I think entry B2 is the one you're looking at.
The 16.4.1979 quotation from Forbes is from the earliest one they could find demonstrating the particular usage in the definition, marking a shift from "quant" as slang for analysis to a person doing the analysis (in this case, financial analysis). One writer describes it like this:
'Quant started out as shorthand for either quantitative or quantitative analysis, and the Oxford English Dictionary traces that colloquial contraction back to the late 19th century. An 1896 compendium of student slang glosses quant as "quantitative analysis, or quantitative chemistry." Quant eventually made the leap from chemistry students to the world of finance, where it got extended in various other ways. For instance, quant also came to mean "quantitative analyst," as in this 1979 quote from Forbes: "Russell isn't a 'quant,' one of the young consultants who do much of their monitoring by questionnaire and most of their evaluating by quantitative analysis.'
Since the term is a shortening of "quantitative", you would find a fuller etymology at quantitative adj. (Just make sure to click "Show More" next to Etymology.)
