Compton's Encyclopedia Lacks Image Index

In short, this encyclopedia has thousands of images that don't show in the media tool and can't be searched for using #image.

I responded in the Feedback link before I saw your post here but I'll restate my question that I wrote there:
Could you provide a more detailed example of the type of search you're running? The images in this resource are indexed and appear in searches. There may be a disconnect in what can be accomplished in the type of searches you're running.

I wrote this on the feedback site:
I am away from my desktop but when I looked at the info section for the book under indexes I didn’t see one for images. As for the search, in other resources (e.g. Boyd Dictionary) I can do a “#image” in the find box to pull up all images but not in this one. I tried using the media tool to search for an image “Aegean civilization” which has an image in the encyclopedia but it didn’t show up. Am I doing something wrong?

Well now I am stumped. When I did this search last night on my mac it resulted in 0 results

I think this problem is a conundrum.
I have been itching to use the word conundrum for a long time. This is as good a time as any.

I'm not sure if the Mac version is different from the PC/Web version but #image turns up 0 results on my Mac. Yes it is downloaded and indexed

I opened the newly added Media Collection, not the Encyclopedia, all by itself and was able to search and display just fine. Are you trying to link the three and search from 1 to 2 to 3?

Would you mind trying a #image search in the non-media Compton's encyclopedia? Does it have any results?
Edit: I can also open the media version and look at the videos. What I am trying to do is pull the images from the regular encyclopedia. They don't show in the media tool for me as well (not sure if they should or not).

Interesting find... I can't search for anything in this resource on my MAC. All searches turn up zero. Does that mean it is corrupted or a MAC bug? If just me, any thoughts how to fix it?
I also posted this in the desktop forum as I thought it was a MAC bug
Edit: I am using the inline search (magnifying glass). CMD+F will find words

Rebuilding the specific fixed my issue. As for the tagging, I do wish these results would show in the media search. A search for Aegean Civilization doesn't pull up the image from the encyclopedia
