Mounce talks about three uses for autos in the New Testament and on of those uses is the adjectival intensive. So how can I find all of the adjectival intensives in Logos?
Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but the morphology applied to the SBLGNT allows specification of either "Intensive Attributive" or "Intensive Predicative" for pronouns. To find them all, do a morph search in SBLGNT for: @R?????[ AP ]
(edit: changed [AP] to [ AP ] so it could be read; the search string in Logos should have no spaces)
I say "unsure" because I'm not sure if what Mounce describes as adjectival intensive is the same as intended by these intensive pronoun subtypes. Here is how our Glossary of Morpho-Syntactic Terminology describes these:
intensive attributive — Refers to instances when the third person personal pronoun αὐτός is in attributive position with respect to a noun (i.e., when αὐτός is accompanied by the article). In such cases αὐτός corresponds to the English adjective “same” and should be translated as such.
intensive predicative — Refers to instances when the third person personal pronoun αὐτός is in predicate position with respect to a noun (i.e., when αὐτός is without the article). In such cases αὐτός corresponds to the English pronoun “self” and is translated himself, herself, itself, etc. depending on the grammatical gender of the noun.

Thank you Rick. I was looking for the intensive predicate.
