TIP of the day: Interactive: Bible People Visual Timelines

1. This interactive may be opened through Tools, Library and Command Box as are all the other interactive. It provides wall-style graphic representation of the life of certain major Biblical majors without a time scale. The Overview page allows you to select the character you wish to explore.

2. Navigation includes a button to return to the Overview screen as does the Back at the bottom. The slider allows one to move a user selected distance on the chart. the Previous/Back move you an episode at the time.

3. The History function captures the switch between overview and character but not the events within a character.

4.Notice that the position of the slide gives you an indication how far into the visual timeline you are. The Events as named on the chart do not necessarily match the name shown in the detail ribbon below.

5. Sometimes an event on the chart represents multiple Biblical events in the Bible Event Navigator and Factbook. Subtitles in blue represent Biblical Events and show the typical mouse over and click behavior.

6. Note that you cannot search the interactive for Biblical events.

7. Note also that the Bible People Visual Timelines do not appear in the Interactive section of the Passage Guide.

However, they do appear in the Topic Guide.
