Home Screen Glitch

Hey!
So, I have an issue where the home screen shows a glitchy screen (alternating digital noise). Any ideas about what's going on?

Do you use Duet Display?

Negative. I have a similar application downloaded, but it's not running (Air Display).

Other users have found that Duet has caused problems, even when not running. I believe that a software update (duet) fixed it. You may be experiencing something similar. You may want to experiment with updating/uninstalling.
I can read logs at a very basic level... If your issue is found in the logs, I can't tell. Someone else will have to chime in.

Thanks, JT. I tried to update the Air Display, restart the computer, made sure it was turned off, and yet I still get the digital noise home screen. Ironically, the rest of the Logos app works.
I did find that I can click around blindly in the home screen and it will open up links and highlight text. I just can't see anything! I posted a picture of what I see.

I have the same issue. It remains in Logos 8. Is there any solution yet?

Hi Josh,
I'm going to email you about this.

I posted a temporary workaround here: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/174827/1010371.aspx#1010371

Hey Chris, that workaround didn't seem to work for me. But that's an incredible workaround for sure! haha.
Tommy asked some questions that were spot on. We haven't diagnosed anything, but I do have two monitors and I'm running a Hackintosh. Those may be involved in the mix.

So, Logos seems to think it has to do with my mac. I'm running a Hackintosh (home-built Mac). Anyone else in the community running a Hackintosh? Logos support said they can't help with Hackintoshes (too many variables maybe).

Yea, it is very likely related to that. I can understand if they don't want to support custom macs, however it's not exactly correct to say that it's not a problem of Logos. Being a software dev myself, this still does look a lot like a bug in the software. It's not that issues like that happen with other software on custom macs (Logos also worked just fine since a few month ago). They just happen to be lucky that their bug does not seem to appear on the limited set of official mac hardware configurations.
Do you have a discrete graphics card, if yes which? Do you run Mojave?

I'm running High Sierra (10.13.6) with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 (4GB).
