Fr. John Paul Abdelsayed, now Bishop Kyrillos, is not exactly a household name but he deserves more popularity than he gets as an anthologist of Early Church Fathers. He produces books with a wide variety of readings, well chosen to be readable for the average Christian. I would like to see his works in Verbum/Logos aimed at a market similar to that of Popular Patristics (as well as fitting into the Eastern Rites Catholic packages.)
- Treasures of the Fathers of the Church: Patristic Meditations on the Sunday Gospels of the Coptic Lectionary
- Volume I in two parts: (a) Sunday Gospels of Tute, Babeh, and Hatour; (b) Sunday Gospels of Kiahk, Tubah, and Amshir
- Volume II (a) The Great Lent
- Volume III in 4 parts: (a) The Holy Pascha: Lazarus Saturday & The Feast of Palms; (b) The Holy Pascha: Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday; (c) The Holy Pascha: Great Thursday; (d) The Holy Pascha: Great Friday & Bright Saturday
- Volume IV (a) Sunday Gospels of the Holy Fifty Days
- The Strong Saint Abba Moses
- Sayings of the Fathers on the Holy Theotokos
- Praying with the Church Fathers
- Ten Paschal Homilies
- The Feast of the Cross
- The Holy Transfiguration
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
