Notes are not considered documents
I don't understand - Notebooks are included in Document searches as below:
MJ - how are you inserting a Label into a Note in the first place?!

You are right, Notebooks are (and I just found that "no notebook" also results in hits for texts within Notes not associated with a Notebook) - still, Labels (and IIRC, tags as well) associated to Notes are not found with the Search panel

Don't know about her, I just used the bottom line of the Notes editor, which gives the possibility to attach tags and - bottom right corner, the plus-buttom looking a bit like a clothing price tag - labels.
Have joy in the Lord!

Thanks - I'd missed that.

Using the label option to the right of the tags option.

Use the mytag field name for tags e.g. mytag:tag1

Was wondering if this was a confirmed bug? For the life of me, I can't figure out how to search for a Label created within a Note (at the bottom)...

It uses the same {Label nnnn WHERE xxxxx} format as a standard label. It you post a picture of the label's definition in highlighting, I can give you precise syntax

You cannot search for them within Notes. In a Search, you look for {Label name}.

Let me try and explain with better clarity
I created 2 Notes with Labels by different methods:
- The first note was created by select some text, choosing the "Hightlinging" tool, selecting a Style which has been created with a Label (TestLabel)
- The second note was created by "New Note", manually added an Anchor, manually created a Label (TestLabel) at the bottom of the Note.
Searching "Everything" with the search string {Label TestLabel} ONLY returns the "First" note results. I am unable to have a search "find" the "Second" note.
Second Note:

Yes, you are experiencing the same bug that I reported.
