SUGGESTION: Sort parallel resources dropdown by language

It would be quite helpful if the parallel resources could be ordered by language first, and by prioritisation second. The more base packages and libraries I own, the more time consuming it becomes to find the parallel Bible that I'm looking for.

For example, have the Bibles in the same language as the resource on top, followed by the Bibles in the same langauge as the UI, and then the other Bibles grouped by language in a pre-defined order.

I prefer prioritization first. I prioritize the ones I might look for.

I wouldn't mind that, as long as everything afterward can be grouped. It's currently very messy.

You could prioritize the others in groups. It might take a couple minutes, but it shouldn't take long.

You could prioritize the others in groups. It might take a couple minutes, but it shouldn't take long.

That still wouldn't allow jumping back and forth between different Bibles in the same language in a matter of a second or less (something that almost every Bible website can do.)

It might be an option for users with 50 Bibles or less in their library. But I have 245 Bibles now, and it's at a point where this is just cumbersome.

If the dropdown could stay at the same position, that would already be helpful. But it moves back to the top whenever I re-open it, and I have to scroll through to find the position again, just to look at the next translation for 10 seconds, followed by another 20 to 30 seconds of scrolling and searching.

Being able to force the dropdown to stay in the same position, at least for Bible references, could be very useful indeed.

Great suggestion. Many of us who use two (or more languages) would love to have some kind of grouping by language, in addition to the priorities. Priorities could happen within each language group.

I would find it even more helpful if there was a way to arrange the parallel resources in such a way that I can have my German Bibles list pop up when clicking in a German Bible on the [//] icon, my English Bibles list when clicking the [//] in an English Bible.

Perhaps this is possible somehow in addition to the automatically shown list of all parallel resources? Maybe a subset of only some Bibles could be created and used alongside the "all parallel resources", and a "German Bibles" subset be activated in German Bibles, an "English Bibles" subset then in English Bibles?

Yes, you may make a collection - click in the parallel resources box - and it will work as you want.
