Copying limitation

I would like to copy large portions of text from Logos books in order to create my own mp3 files of these texts using a text-to-speech software (it has slightly better voices than the ones available via Windows--which Logos employs for its text-to-speech functionality).
I realize that Logos may have legal reasons for limiting the amount of text one can copy to the clipboard at one time. Might anyone know what the specific limitation is for this copying? Is it a certain number of words? I've played around it with and tried to figure out how much I can copy at once but have had trouble identifying with any precision the max that I can transfer.

I don't think there is a limit to copy/paste just if you try to export through the print menu. Then there is a 100 pg. limit.

From what I've read it could be anything from a small book to 263 pages. But there would be a limit imposed by your clipboard/system memory.

Perhaps my issue is more in the area of "how do you select large amounts of text" . . . a normal Microsoft Word function is to left-click the mouse, drag over some text, let go of the left mouse button, use the scroll button to move to a new position in the document some 30 or 40 pages further on, then hold the shift key, and finally click the left button on the mouse in the new location. This then highlights everything from where you initially positioned the mouse up until the final position.
What I've discovered in Logos 4, at least as far as I can tell, is that when I do this, the amount highlighted after completing the process s never the entire amount. It is only the page or so of text that precedes my final click. Everything earlier than that is no longer highlighted.
On the other hand, if I use this process and only scroll down 3 or 4 pages before the second mouse click, then it highlights everything I'm trying to highlight.
Is there another way to select large amounts of text, or is the pattern I've been following correct, but something else may be happening?
Thank you so much for taking the time to assist. It is much appreciated.

Try click (tap) at the start, hold Shift down, scroll to your end position and click. This works for my touchpad (unless there is a hitch when scrolling).

Again, thanks for your time!
When I do that and use the scroll bar to arrive at a new location, often I seem to "lose" the position of the initial click--when I implement the final click, only the previous page or so is highlighted.
What I just discovered, though, is that if I use the scroll wheel on my mouse to move through material after the initial click, it consistently works! After discovering that, for a time the use of the scroll bar also worked. But then, all of sudden, using the scroll bar began acting as it once did.
I've replicated the alternation between using the scroll wheel and the scroll bar a number of times, and the scroll bar does work on occasion, but then all of a sudden using the scroll bar seems to cancel out the initial click.
Using the scroll wheel is a sufficient fix for my purposes, though it would be interesting to discover what's happening with the scroll bar.

Hey Steve, out of curiosity what text to audio program do you use, I'm interested in finding one that I can use for this exact purpose. The mobile function is great, but I'm unable to bookmark and it uses internet, so it rules out using it extensively at work. Thanks in advance.

This thread is 11 years old so I doubt you will get an answer from Steve. But there are many free text to speech programs that you can easily find on the Internet.

Thanks for your question, Frank, and Dave, your reply is probably the best I could do as well. I am not using what I was using back then (I'm not recalling the specific software), and so much has changed technologically since then.
