A couple of times when logging in to the presentation it tells me there is an update available. When I click the update button the interface just disappears with nothing telling me its updating like Logos does. I thought maybe it shuts down to update but when I give it some time then go to open it again I get the same prompt to update. I end up just skipping the update altogether and eventually that prompt goes away. So, what is the deal with the updating?

Hi, John. Clicking update should automatically start a download to update Proclaim. The simplest workaround is to head to proclaimonline.com/download and get the latest version if the automatic updater isn't working.

I'm curious: are you having trouble updating Windows or any other applications?

If you could post your log files in this thread we'll have a look and see if we can discover why the update process isn't working.
