Happy Canada Day to Rosie, Milford and anyone else out there, (as the three of us celebrate the latest tax grabs).

Longtime Logos user (more than $30,000 in purchases) - now a second class user because I won't pay them more every month or year.

Thanks! Eh!   In Ontario we get a present of a new taxation method HST (perhaps you heard already).  Yet to see how this will impact us.

Thanks Alex!  *smile*   You live just down the road from me.  Greetings Roger!    Also to Frances and Steve and many others.

From Canada to the World Logos Community:   We just hosted the G8 and the G20 in Toronto, Ontario.  It was interesting to say the least.  Less contentious is the our gracious Queen is visiting us this Canada Day!        Wow.  How long can she last?  Who will be her heir?

Anyway, Greetings to the World Logos Community from Canada whose one motto is "From Sea to Sea to Sea"!

Yeah - it's supposed to make things cheaper for us, so they're sending us $1000 over the next year to compensate us for all the money we're going to save!  What's wrong with this picture??

Definitely a Happy Canada Day to you folks. Glad to hear things quiet down a bit after the G20 in Toronto.

Milford as to how log the Queen will last? Quite some time I would imagine. She comes from a very hearty line doesn't she?

Milford Charles Murray:

Not a scientific decision, but I suspect she will bypass Charles, for Prince WIlliam. I believe that WIlliam will re-invigorate the Royal Family to the Commonwealth. Just a thought.

In Christ,

Ken

Yup, we get that too in BC, starting today. It will increase the cost of many things that were formerly subject only to GST (not PST as well) by 8%. Big ticket items are where it's gonna hurt the most. There's a strong movement afoot to get a referendum going to have it repealed. They have way more than the number of signatures they need.

Fortunately online purchases of digital media (such as Logos resources) aren't taxed by Canada...yet Smile
