From Canada to the World Logos Community: We just hosted the G8 and the G20 in Toronto, Ontario. It was interesting to say the least. Less contentious is the our gracious Queen is visiting us this Canada Day! Wow. How long can she last? Who will be her heir?

Not a scientific decision, but I suspect she will bypass Charles, for Prince WIlliam. I believe that WIlliam will re-invigorate the Royal Family to the Commonwealth. Just a thought.
Yup, we get that too in BC, starting today. It will increase the cost of many things that were formerly subject only to GST (not PST as well) by 8%. Big ticket items are where it's gonna hurt the most. There's a strong movement afoot to get a referendum going to have it repealed. They have way more than the number of signatures they need.
Fortunately online purchases of digital media (such as Logos resources) aren't taxed by Canada...yet [:)]
