For Kevin (or whoever else can help) - how was this done:

Custom palette/style? What did the definition of the style look like? Thanks!

i think it is covered in the wiki page Highlighting under subheading

Creating Custom Palettes also go down a bit to heading Text Effects  Label Text.

Edit: i did some T&E until i figured it out. See my next reply.

Thanks Steve for the reply.  I was wondering specifically what text effects Kevin used, sorry I wasn't more clear!

  1. Open the Reverse Interlinear in your Bible
  2. Click on the word (so it appears in the RI)
  3. In the RI, right click on the selected word
  4. In the pop-up, have Lemma selected on the right. Then on the left click on Copy (this copies the Hebrew lemma to the clipboard)
  5. Open Highlighting and right click at the bottom and select Create a New Style
  6. Expand the Label Text, then in the Text Before click in the box and paste (the Hebrew that you copied in step 4)
  7. Expand the Font Styling and select superscript and change the scaling as desired
  8. In the name area, name your highlighting style
  9. Click OK to save your new style
  10. Make sure that your new style is selected in the Highlighting window. Then try highlighting the word in your Bible to see how it looks. Edit your new highlighting style until you are happy with it.
  11. Then clear the highlighting in your Bible that you were experimenting with. And now create your visual filter.

Good job Steve.  Yes  That's one of the best detailed screenshots I've seen in a while.

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

Thanks Steve, great explanation and diagram!  The superscript was the key thing I didn't realize.

Dominick

Steve already did a good job of showing how. Here's the exact settings I used

I used the Hebrew keyboard instead of copying the lemma from a text but it's a similar idea.

One last question - I know how the use of Superscript works now, but say I wanted to replace the word God or Lord with something, either the Hebrew lemma, or say YHWH. How would I do that, is it possible with a custom style? I don't see a way to replace...
