PAINFUL SCROLLING with 8G Ram on MBP 13" 2.53

I just upgraded my ram to 8G and was really hoping for some improvement. I don't want to run the PC version on VMware fusion, but if I have to.... Someone give me some hope/tips please. Thanks.

Welcome [:D]
Wondering about Logos 4 Mac version ? Screen shot of painful scrolling would be helpful - provide opportunity for users and developers to replicate.
Recently Logos 4.2a Release Candidate 1 released to Beta channel => http://community.logos.com/forums/t/30236.aspx - includes several performance optimizations - if no major issues found, will become stable release soon.
Mac Troubleshooting page has How to Report Bugs in Logos 4 Mac and Slow Performance (includes enabling 64 bit kernel for Snow Leopard)

same prob with 3.06mhz / 8 gig iMac even when reading a bible with a passage guide and commentary open, glitchy to the point of pain.

Opened Logos Bible Software 4.2a (4.21.5.0585) on Mac to Home page - Ephesians 2:1-10
Clicked Go - then clicked Exegetical Guide:
Exegetical Guide scrolling is glitchy (especially Word by Word) - personally prefer visualizations - so choose to Edit Guide Template and removed Word By Word section (changed name from Copy of Exegetical Guide to My Exegetical Guide). Used Close All command - then GO on home page. Closed Information tab and floated Text Comparison - now have responsive scrolling in all panels.
By the way, have visual filter turned on to highlight some Greek morphology in reverse interlinear Bibles.
